This company was active in warehouses and Stores, Properties, Contractual and General Trade. It had
partnerships and joint ventures with many other companies in the fields of general trade and industrial
maintenance.
* Responsibilities
* Providing the legal Advice, verbal and written, for the Chairman, Board of Directors, Company’s
Directors and managers in all issues related to the company activities and other sister companies'
activities.
*
Liaising with external lawyers( civil cases, commercial cases, employment disputes, arbitration).
Reporting to Chairman and Board of Directors on the company cases and disputes status.
* Attending the company meetings advising in the legal issues raised in the meetings.
* Suggesting the suitable legal firms to be the external lawyers for handling the company’s legal
issues in addition to the coordination and liaising with them.
* Suggesting the suitable and effective resolutions to the company’s case and company’s disputes.
* Handling the legal investigation regarding the employment violations by the employees,
suggesting the suitable punishment in accordance with Bahrain labor law.
* Updating the company’s management and the company’s decision makers regarding the
development modifications of the related legislations and legal affairs concerning the
amendments and changes of the applicable laws so as to protect the interest of the company and
to update the legal and all company’s related issues.
* Liaising with the company outside lawyers regarding the cases and dispute or any other legal
issues.
Achievements:
* Establishment of and effective legal department (system of legal reports and legal
documentation).
* Helping the company in finalizing and closing of many long pending legal issues either by
amicable settlement or by liaising with the external lawyers expediting the litigation process
through the continuous following of the cases raised against the company or from it against
others.
* The company won many cases in civil courts, employment courts as well.
* The Company and its other sister companies achieved the potential business goals and the
desired improvement through the good legal attribution.

Representing Clients before all types of Courts (Criminal -Civil-Commercial-Employment)
Court of Appeal, Higher Court).
* Advising Clients on their own legal issues and disputes.
* Drafting and preparing legal Memos, Legal arguments for Civil Courts, Criminal Courts,
Commercial Courts and Employment courts.
* External Lawyer and Legal adviser of many companies and commercial institutions in
Sudan.
* Studying police reports, interview transcripts, medical records and other facts to make a case
for the plaintiff.
* Advising colleagues on all legal matters, suggesting courses of action.
* Attending and preparingarguments for hearings at court
* Presenting evidence in court to support clients in legal proceedings.
* Giving oral arguments in a court of law.
* Shaping a client's expectations on what can be realistically achieved.
* Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations.
* Looking for evidence that will back up a client’s case.
* Researching precedents in law libraries and then using the finding to provide a defense for
their clients and support their cases in court.
* Gathering and organizing evidence on behalf of clients.
* Interviewing witnesses, defendants and clients and doing cross examinations before courts.
* Interpreting and explaining the law clearly to both individual and business clients.
* Giving support, recognition and rewards to junior staff
