Manage and own IT Governance and Audit function which includes Process and Performance Management, Control Assurance Management, Regulatory and Compliance Management, IT Incident management, IT Change Management and Knowledge Management. Ensure to improve the quality of work and reduce the risk, cost/time.
•Inform and align decision making for information technology planning, policy and operations in order to meet business objectives
•Ensure division’s budgetary requirements comprising its preparation and delivery of projects within cost and time; establish and report technology and service based budgeting and spending
•Design, develop, optimize, streamline, maintain and update policies, standards, procedures, operational documents, KPI’s, KRI’s, KGI’s and such others for practices related to ITD functions.
•Ensure Information Security Awareness eLearning trainings to the business departments
•Conduct process maturity assessment as per the approved annual calendar and work with respective ITD units in ensuring the implementation of the assessment outcomes
•Contributes as core team member in various committees like Change Advisory Board (CAB), Design Review Board (DRB), IT Audit Committee, IT Project and Cost Management Committee (PCC), IT Management Committee (ITMC)
•Responsible to maintain certifications and compliance with various applicable regulatory requirements mainly NESA, Central Bank, PCI DSS, ISO 27001:2013, 9001:2008 and adhere to ADIB’s stated objectives.
•Conduct system and/or process reviews such as Network Security, SDLC, BCP- Disaster Recovery etc.
•Ensure generation, review and delivery in a timely and accurate way of periodic reports for the department performance
•Engage and implement group/region led audit assignments. Provide periodic reports to the Executive Management.
•Report, Monitor and track issues in line with global best practices after agreeing with management about mitigating actions.
Managing Operations, Projects and assure best support services to our clients and partners; responsible of profit/loss.
As ITSM consultant, responsible for ISO27001:2013, ISO20000:2011, ISO9001:2008 implementation and audit support. Also have developed methodologies to optimize expertise at Stride and for its clients to integrate. Effective management and improvement of Information Technology processes. Developed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) and Underpinning contracts templates and assisted in establishing the IT Service Catalogue and CMDB technical architecture.
Manage IT function of JANADA Electronics and associated 2 companies. Manage all departmental information technology projects and work with Project Managers on goal attainment. Handled all recruiting and hiring of information system team leads. Resolve escalated system issues utilizing in-house staff and third party consultants. Review SLA’s and Underpinning contracts, establish and strengthen the relationship and communication with the customers. Provide security expertise to critical projects during RFP/RFQ processes. Evaluate Information Security of all critical projects during project lifetime. Align security projects with business needs. Representing JANADA Electronics at meetings with clients, Government Ministries, banks and other organizations. Exhibit & attending trade shows, seminars and workshops on behalf of JANADA Electronics.
