Act as a role model for EHS, Compliance and Quality
Provide an interface into the region team for all Quality matters, working as a voice of the Region representing Steam Power Quality Shaping and driving improvements for customers
Create and drive an operating rhythm around customer facing metnics including trend analysis and improvement plane for Field Services, Repairs, Parts, and Engineering Services for the Region.
Support and drive RCA work with operating leaders and teams to create a roadmap of continuous improvement projects and track the implementation and the eftect of the customer facing metrics
Coordinating with Sourcing team that enables the deplovment of the appropriate
Supplier Quality resources in the region to drive quality, delivery, and g excellence within the supply base for Steam Power
Execute Global Sourcing and Steam Power strategies, managing complex reht
between numerous stakeholders in multiple countries
Manage and execute Supplier qualifications requirements, supplier development and surveillance audits for all suppliers within the Region on behalf of Steam Power Business Work closely with global Commodity Leaders and local Commodity Leaders to identify and assess new supplier eppestunities
Collate, analyze, and drive improvement to customer metrics within the Region Support the development of a communication and Learning Plan to seek, share, and implement best practices to drive a learning organization.
Apply Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve process capability and eliminate detects
Partnering with the SP MENAT team to drive quality improvements for the Region using Quality Improvement and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Interfacing with the wider Steam Power Quality organization, Power Quality teams and other stakeholders, to improve the customer experience, minimize the cost of poor quality and drive operational improvements.
Member of the region's Lean Council for improvement of leaner and more ettective business processes and eliminating process waste
> Support strategic supplier management in the region and partner with the Global
Supplier Quality teams.
Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities for pre engineering and engineering concepts, designs and development, procurement and construction projects for systems and programs associated with the Company's oil and gas production,
transport and export.
Duties and Responsibilities:
➢ Evaluates and recommends pre- engineering and engineering concepts, designs and development, procurement and construction projects for Quality Assurance/Quality Control systems and programs associated with the Company's oil and gas production, transport and export.
➢ Participated in Various Major ADCO mega projects worth over 10 Billion dollars as ADCO Overall Project Quality Manager during various stages starting from FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.
➢ Participates the implementation of the review and updating of all Company key technical documents that relate to the achievement of technical objectives at all levels throughout the Company.
➢ Review and assess Prequalification submissions of new vendors, consultant, EPC contractors and fabrication contractors and participate in auditing them prior to have them qualified in ADCO Approved Vendor/Contractor List.
➢ Maintain the QA and QC of Oil and Gas onshore pipelines and networks constructions during Erection, Fabrication and installation of line pipes a of crossing spools for roads pipelines and water channels for all new and different areas small modifications and maintenance projects.
➢ Advises Divisions/Department personnel in interpretation of corporate quality requirements and generation of divisional/ departmental quality procedures.
➢ Evaluates and approves project quality strategies prior to presentation to management and assists contractor in developing adequate quality systems to meet ADCO requirements.
➢ Reviews and endorses internal and external quality audits findings and verifies compliance with approved procedures.
➢ Sets different Projects phases Quality requirements and develops it on the project’s Terms of Reference.
➢ Sets criteria for project criticality ratings. Updates projects‟ criticality rating criteria in conjunction with concerned engineers and/or clients as necessary.
➢ Monitors and reports on implementation of quality control QC plans and ensures that all witness and hold points are timely implemented.
➢ Develops non-conformity reporting system and carries out statistical analysis of Nonconformance reports and audit findings.
➢ Designs and advises on methods and procedures for design review, checking & approvals, the verification of design documents & deliverables.
➢ Establish and develop QC plans, procedures and system for continuous improvement of work quality, monitoring performance of the QC system and recommending changes as appropriate.
➢ Review potential vendors and contractor’s quality documentation and takes part in vendor/contractor evaluation process.
➢ Analyzes purchase order requirements from a quality control point of view and makes necessary arrangements to meet such requirements.
Plan and execute supplier quality and EHS Audits.
Assess supplier quality management systems, ISO certifications and EHS compliance.
Rate suppliers on production capabilities, lead times, cost structure and their capability to resolve non-conformances.
Identify and mitigate supplier performance risks.
Drive and support supplier development activities by defining continuous improvement measures and corrective actions.
Define the commercial qualification status of the supplier.
Coordinate and support supplier quality activities within the supply chain organization, e.g. supplier performance evaluation, increasing supplier performance and capability and keeping the supporting tools (e.g. Power Source) up to date.
Conduct in-depth evaluations of supplier performance, including product quality and voluntary compliance with schedule commitments.
Analysis of national and international sourcing markets.
As appropriate, recommend alternative sources of supply to minimize project risks.
Resolve non-conformance issues, back-charges and claims in a timely manner to minimize the company's exposure.
Risk analysis and controlling of shortages.
Support of development of a global sourcing strategy.
Tight communication and coordination with internal and external interfaces.
Project management and execution of sourcing projects in the middl east for identifying new suppliers to the company.
Conducting Suppliers Qualifications with respect to the commodities they were identified for with coordination between engineering and key commodity managers.
Working for BUREAU VERITAS as an independent verification authority representative
and conduct the implementation of BV rules and regulations for surveillance and Certification
Services supplemented with the applicable international specifications, standards and codes for
the following activities:
ô¾ Piping systems erection and equipments installation for wellheads.
ô¾ Valve stations erection and installation.
ô¾ Tie-ins welding, NDT, Field coating, CP systems installation, hydro testing, pigging,
gauging, purging and pre-commissioning.
ô¾ Pressure vessels: Construction and in-service inspection for LPG spherical PV, fabrication,
heat exchangers and in-service inspection for cylindrical PV.
ô¾ Storage tanks: construction and in-service inspection.
ô¾ Crude oil heaters: In-service inspection.
ô¾ Process piping: Fabrication, erection and hydrotesting.
ô¾ GRE and GRP pipes and fittings.
ô¾ Offshore Calm Mooring buoys.
ô¾ Crane and lifting equipment: In-service inspection and load testing.
Working in ELNasr Petroleum Company (NPC), in Suez,
Egypt As an Inspection Engineer performing the following:
Evaluation and in service inspection of refinery equipment.
Carry out various Methods of Non-Destructive Examinations, including Radiographic, Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant methods.
Write, Review and Audit the NDE standard procedures.
Issue the required corrective action reports.
Calibrate and operate various non destructive tests.
Test instruments to verify the steel integrity and the grade.
➢ Carrying out all inspections activities required to ensure plant integrity and reliability for the safe and efficient operation.
➢ Inspecting plant process equipment, maintenance and capital investment works and materials received in the warehouse when required, to ensure compliance with codes, standards and specifications.
• Data acquisition for the analysis and development of Fitness for purpose report, corrosion growth rate report and the Repair schedule.
• Ensure that all risks associated with the design and operation of the Assets are identified and permanently maintained at an accepted level, in compliance with HSE and Integrity policy and relevant referential documents.
• Providing technical integrity service through daily storage, retrieval, updating and monitoring of process safety data to support the reduction/elimination of process safety events.
Supervising all on-stream and shutdown inspection activities for stationary equipment, pressure relieving devices, corrosion monitoring and investigation of failures.
Coordinating the development and implementation of facility integrity programs for wells, plant and other critical systems/equipment (including corrosion/pressure/structural/electrical integrity, inspections, analysis, corrective scope preparation etc)
Planning, establishing and supervising Plant Inspection scheduling, reporting and recording systems to conform with the requirements of accepted code of practice for refinery inspection and testing.
Custodian of facilities fitness for service requirements and life extension program assessment.
Performing various methods of Non-Destructive Examinations, including Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic and Liquid Penetrate methods.
Writing and reviewing of procedures, Auditing of NDE procedures, Issuing corrective actions, Calibrating and operating various non destructive testing instruments to verify steel integrity and grade.
Performing shop and field inspections and reviewing QA/QC documents & method statements during project execution.
Performing Welding procedure qualifications and welder performance qualifications.
and verifying that the welding characteristics to be used in the work is as per the qualified procedure and personnel.
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Production Engineering from Alexandria University year2003. Excellent in Graduation Project
