• Led mechanical design engineering team to delivered successfully AKDN (Aga Khan Development Network) capital projects located in Tanzania, and Uganda East Africa.
• In a very short period, renovating the old campus as per the latest technology, codes, and standards.
• Major expansion and renovation of campus include (Plant Room, Oxygen Generation Plant, Animal House Research Facility, BSL-2 & 3 Labs, Operation Theatres, Multidisciplinary, and Microscopy Labs).
• My core expertise lies in the Designing, Project Execution, and Planning of Heating Ventilation Airconditioning, Fire Fighting, Medical Gases, BMS, and Plumbing systems and coordination with all the stakeholders (Facility Management Division, Project Supply Control Management, Building Management system, Fire and Safety, Purchase, UMP, EHS, and Biomedical) where considering Net zero carbon emission to deliver sustainability energy efficient projects successfully.
• In addition to preparing boq’s, engineers estimate, review shop drawings, technical submittals, coordinate with vendors locally as well as internationally, and prepare detailed drawings, and equipment schedules subject to compliance with project specifications.
• Make and implement SOP for Chiller, Chilled Water Pumps, AHU, FCU, HRU, VAV, VAVH, Exhaust Fan, RO Plant, Solar Hot water Generator, Boiler, Fire Pump, Pre Action-Valve System, Oxygen Generation Plant, Natural Gas and Utility Monitoring in campus and outreach projects.
• Skillfully interacted with clients, architects, design engineers, contractors, and suppliers to manage the completion and energization of major projects.
• Led construction teams, and scrutinized requirements while escalating as a catalyst for smooth execution and compliance with tender specifications.
• Delivered complete design and development of HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
• Expediently designed & renovated major projects for industrial, commercial, hospitals, pharmaceutical, educational, and office buildings.
• Utilized key skills in CAD and design software to develop concept & detailed layouts and designs.
I am a mechanical engineer who graduated from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science, and Technology. My coursework and projects have equipped me with skills in different types of chillers and their coefficient of performance (COP). I am excited to apply this knowledge in the Building Services Sector.
