-Managing large and complex Applications focusing on IT -Delivery Channels.
-Responsible for Delivery, Support and Maintenance of more than 30 bank’s applications such as Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, IB Trade Innovation, Payment Gateway, Call Center, Middleware, , online trading, Cheque Clearing, Fund transfer, Wages Protection System (WPS) Direct Debit, Alerting system (SMS), Document Management(DMS), Business Process Manager, Reconciliation, Treasury, Queue Management, Cheque Printing solution, Asset Management, ATM UBP, Multi Factor Authentication, Internal and External Portals, etc
-Provide support per request from various constituencies. Investigate, analyze and troubleshoot production issues and coordinating with different vendor to resolve complex technical issues.
-Monitoring analyzing customer complaints and initiating required plans to address identified gaps in order to Increase the customer satisfaction levels.
-Manage a team of highly qualified professionals who are responsible for the support services and enhancement for more than 20 critical banking applications.
-Adept at managing & leading teams cross functional team (both onshore and offshore) of highly qualified IT professionals during large implementations.
-Assign short and long term tasks to team members and ensure their successful completion.
-Report success ratio to upper management to assure the performance level.
-Manage the implementation of related Central Bank of the UAE mandates for Service Delivery Operations.
-Operational projects monitoring and management reporting.
-Productivity evaluation and up gradation, determining and documenting new process requirements.
-Identifying automation opportunities, looking into business re-engineering and process enhancements.
-Application Automation for full manual processes, report automation as per business needs.
-Managing Vendors Engagements related to AMCs, system changes or implementations of new solutions.
-Defining clear gales for more efficient and cost effective service unit with a clear focus on quality.
-Managing audit observations and ensuring compliance with bank internal policies.
-Vulnerability Assessment review & Patch Management review.
-Planning and Execution of Application Security. Frameworks and Assure Compliance.
-Monitor, Identify, Assess, Mitigate, Manage and Communicate IT related Business Risks.
-Design implement system interfaces for new core banking as well as new projects.
-Manage Applications and System Integration Projects.
-Configuring monitoring equipments and tools required for 24/7 systems (Business Service Management).
-Identification and Monitoring of Scenarios for Continuous Control Monitoring.
-Verifying integrity and availability of all server resources and different system components.
-Ensure functionality, availability, and reliability of 24/7 systems.
-Perform ongoing performance tuning, to support capacity planning, Application servers’ upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
-Planning/ defining application and data Backups and ensuring successful restoration if required.
-Planning regular file archival and application DB purging as necessary.
-Implementing system changes and fixes deployments.
-Planning and performing server hardware and applications migration.
-Adopting Change management process as part of ITIL standards.
-Planning go live and DR switching activities\plans.
-Configuring/Creating different live, test and DR application environments.
-Ensure successful implementations and maintenance on live banking applications.
-Writing and maintaining operational, configuration, installation and DR procedures.
-Study, selection, Implementation, maintenance & monitoring of new applications.
-Assist & support senior management on all aspects of operations and strategic planning.
