• Manage all department related matters (budget - plan -…etc.).
• Ensure site compliance to both company & local governmental Safety & Environment regulations.
• Develop emergency response plan and coordinate effective test drills.
• Conduct the risk assessment of the different activities on the site.
• Performs safety surveys and inspections, prepares written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures were indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
• Administer all corrective & preventive actions tracked on the action tracking system.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Ensure proper implementation of the company HSE systems including OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 across all site departments.
• Ensure site compliance to both company & local governmental Safety & Environment regulations.

• Develop Standard Operating Procedures & Safe Working Practices.
• Administer material safety data sheet for all chemicals used in the facility.

• Organize the monthly Safety Task Force Committee Meetings with company Managers.
• Inspect the sits daily, and record all visible safety hazards, including identification of violators.
• Prepare and communicate job hazard analysis for each major phase or element of work prior to start of the task.
• Inspects equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure safety of workers engaged in maintenance activities.
• Instructs workers in use of safety equipment and safe work methods.
• Inspects and prepares reports on requests for variance to the established safety standards.
