Job Description / Level of Responsibility:
Managing all IS&T aspects for ACESCo Company which includes:
• Building new IT Team to support 200 users, 5 sites and 8 projects.
• Managing and Leading all IT Procurement and Financial cycle.
• Leading, directing and training team members on information systems and Technology in areas including application support, engineering Software, Network Administration and Application database administration
• Implementing the latest IT Technologies in ACESCo office Infrastructure. New Server Room with latest server models (Dell Power Edge and HP Proliant), HP & Dell Rack. UPS power feed for servers, switches, routers and other Infrastructure backbone devices.
• Implementing Wireless Network solution that covers all ACESCo Main Buildings as well as external sites.
• Implementing new Engineering Infrastructure in ACESCo by adopting new Eng. tools and training IT Personnel on troubleshooting, configuring and administering these tools. This includes Mechanical, Plant Design, Electrical and Civil programs.
• Implementing new Document Management system in ACESCo using Bentley Project Wise. Configuring/administering 4 new projects in Project Wise and working on migrating old Projects to the new system.
• Implementing latest HP and CISCO core switches.
• Upgrading the whole network to Giga connection and linking our buildings with Fiber Optics cable.
• Implementing ASA firewall security with IPS
• VERITAS Backup applied on all servers.
• Full remote services for external users such as VPN, OWA ….etc
• Implementing 2-way Satellite Broadband Solution.
• Successfully Managing ACESCo IT Environment which includes Windows Domain controllers, Exchange, Oracle 9i & 10g Servers, Application servers, Print server, AV server, ISA 2006, WG Firewall, FTP, WSUS, Linux FW, Web Filter server, Mail Firewall, Document Management System….etc.
