I have taken up teaching in three leading universities (two leading business schools & one leading medical school) in Karachi, as a visiting faculty member; paid on hourly rates.
DUHS is Dow University of Health Sciences, which has an outreach program - Institute of Health Management, where I teach "PROJECT MANAGEMENT".
I am in the Marketing Department & teach undergraduate, graduate & post-graduate students.
Subject taught include: Marketing Management, Principles of Marketing, Sales Management, Retail & Wholesale Distribution, International Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Global Business Management, Export Marketing, Strategic Brand Management, Consumer Behavior, Strategic Business Communications, Digital Marketing, Corporate Governance & Project Management.
I am in the Business Administration Department and teach/have taught subjects such as : CORPORATE GOVERNANCE, MARKETING MANAGEMENT, SALES MANAGEMENT, INTERNATIONAL MARKETING, INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS & GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, RETAIL & WHOLESALE DISTRIBUTION.
Our country's regulatory body for higher education is H.E.C. (Higher Education Commission) & the related accreditation body is NBEAC (National Business Education Accreditation Council), who have recommended my promotion as "PROFESSOR OF PRACTICE", based on my rich & diversified corporate experience with multinational companies, particularly blue chip / Fortune-500 companies.
MY GREATEST ADVANTAGE IN TEACHING IS THE IMMENSE UP-GRADATION OF MY ACADEMIC KNOWLEDGE, MAKING IT FULLY CONTEMPORARY & ALIGNED WITH THE CURRENT "MARKETPLACE, PARTICULARLY WITH THE MARKETSPACE".

Singer Pakistan has a huge manufacturing factory in Korangi, Karachi. We manufacture/assemble/import & sell through our own 145-countrywide retail stores; almost all home-appliances; including AC, LED, REFRIGERATOR, WASHING MACHINES, GAS APPLIANCES, SMALL & KITCHEN APPLIANCES, FURNITURE, SEWING MACHINES, MOTORCYCLES.
Retail network of own-stores is managed for inventory, sales, remittance, after-sales service.
Have introduced the concept of "multi-brand" in our stores; "more brands - more choice"; towards this end have procured & sold brands like SONY, LG, SAMSUNG, HAIER, PHILLIPS etc.
ALL IMPORTANT MANAGEMENT DECISIONS ARE TAKEN WITH MY INVOLVEMENT.
AS CGM OF PANASONIC PAKISTAN, I SUPERVISED THE LIAISON OFFICE, WHOSE ROLE IS BRAND BUILDING & BRAND/IPR PROTECTION. AS SUCH, THE PANASONIC BRAND OF HOME APPLIANCES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT, SECURITY/SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT & OTHER PRODUCT LINES, WERE IMPORTED THROUGH DISTRIBUTORS AND MARKETED/SOLD.
MY ROLE WAS CRUCIAL IN BUDGETING, PLANNING, OPSI, A&P, TRAINING ETC.
I REPORTED TO DUBAI REGIONAL H.Q.
AS HEAD OF MARKETING, I SUPERVISED ALL "MARKETING MANAGEMENT" RESPONSIBILITIES, WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON RETAIL MARKETING.
SINGER HAD ABOUT 183 STORES/OUTLETS IN PAKISTAN, AT ITS PEAK PENETRATION; WHERE MERCHANDISING (INCLUDING POS MATERIAL), INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, PROVIDING TRAINED AND UNIFORMED SALES STAFF ETC. IS ALL TAKEN CARE OF IN A VERY SCIENTIFIC MANNER. LAUNCHED THE FIRST SINGERPlus "MEGA-STORE" IN KARACHI; WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON MULTI-BRANDS.
MANAGED ENTIRE A&P; A NEW CONSUMER PROMOTION WAS OFFERED EVERY BI-MONTHLY, ADVERTISED HEAVILY THROUGH MASS MEDIA, CATALOGS, POS MATERIAL & OUTDOOR ADVERTISING.
