Design Company Standard IT Infrastructure for a New training Center with occupancy of 150 Students, Define IT technical solution to meet the business requirements, and the project plan, resources, schedule, and budget required to deliver the solutions, manage the execution of the project and organizes the Deployment and Transition to Service Operation.

- Manages/supervises IT Service Delivery Team day-to-day activities
- Provides input to Service Delivery Management for training plan and career path as required

Technology

Designed and constructed a wide-area network, configure and install VSAT systems . Oversaw setup of servers and desktop workstations. Recruited and trained network and desktop support technicians, Configured routers, firewalls, switches, access points, Bridges, install and maintain High Processing Cluster (HPC) IBM.
Work Details:
• Staffed newly formed Help Desk function to provide assistance to computer users via telephone and e-mail. Maintained trouble-ticket system, Collected frequently asked questions and wrote formal answers to ensure accuracy of responses and consistency with Help Desk personnel.
• Configure, install & troubleshoot Directwave, IDirect Vsat systems, and control them remotely.
•Configure Cisco routers, switches, wireless (AP, Antenna) VOIP Phones, Servgate Firewall to improve networks efficiency and security.
• Project administrator to install, maintain Schlumberger Geophysical Cluster system (Geoframe) for Iraq Oil Exploration Company, using IBM eserver Nodes for cluster processing running
Enterprise Redhat supported with 2.5TB IBM DS4000 SAN, serving 42 Dell Precision 670
Client’s workstation using Linux NIS, NFS .
• Create secure remote connection through ssh to troubleshoot the System remotely.
• Install Backup and archive system using Solaris sunfire server (v880) running Solaris 9 operating system, automated shell script to backup the data on IBM 3590, VXA SCSI Tape Drives
Managed technical infrastructure, operation and maintenance for Harris automation system specialized in TV broadcasting, install video servers, capture and editing workstations, Kaleido-K2 multi image display processor, autocue script system, and character generator stations, Audio & Video distribution systems (ADA, VDA).
Work Details
•install and configure leitch, pinnacle video streaming servers (Palladium Servers) to capture and playout video materials provided by 4TB SAN.
•Install, configure Autocue (QTV) database servers and 8 client’s application to add and edit news scripts to be displayed on LCD prompter
•Setup and install Avid liquid video editing system network, integrated with vortex networked edit system for fast news material playout
Planned and integrated a 9-office Windows 2003 server Domain with over 35 computers. Administered primary and back-up domain controllers, file servers, print servers, and Wlan connection .Provide secure internet connection to the network through DirectWave Vsat connection.
•Computer Network Security: Implemented policies for member use of Internet and e-mail.
•Developed and implemented desktop computing and networking standards to simplify network environment and troubleshooting
•Performed routine maintenance and user file backups. Assisted financial and office personnel with hardware and software problems, provided troubleshooting, and owned desktop and network issues to resolution.
