Introduction of the Project
The under construction bridge is going to be the longest bridge in Pakistan with approximately 3 km length. It connects two towns of Azad Jammu & Kashmir situated at opposite sides of Mangla Dam reservoir. It is a multi-span, pre-stressed concrete simply supported structure serving two way heavy traffic. Height of thin walled, hollow box type piers varies in between 14 ~ 49 meters.
Activities.
Construction supervision of: Construction of cast in place piles having length upto 45m and diameter 1.0m
Construction of Pilecaps containing group of 9-25 piles
Construction of thin walled hollow box type piers with slip formwork
Checking of IPCs & EPCs of the contractor
The project is at the stage of pier construction yet.
