1. Ensuring company policies and regulations are implemented.
2. Ensuring all ISO 9000, 9001, 140000 standards are in conformity at all our
Facilities/Warehouses throughout the country. Over 1.2 Million Sq. Ft of
Warehousing.
3. Safety and Security Regulations are practiced in letter and spirit.
4. Ensuring that Environmental Protection policies are followed strictly.
5. Business, Operational and Sales targets are achieved.
6. General Management of around 300 personnel at various levels of the hierarchy.
7. Ensuring that HR policies are in place and proper Role Profiles are established
for every position.
8. Liaisoning with various Govt departments and private sector organizations.
9. Contract Logistics, establishment of Legal agreements and contracts.
10. Preparation of Annual Budgets.
11. Attending various regional meetings regarding future strategy and achievement
of targets.
D. Worked at TAQ Logistics (Agents for DHL - DANZAS) from
January 1996 to September 2009 as Managing Director & Chief
Operating Officer.
1. The role and responsibilities comprised of achieving sales and operations
targets of the organization at country level. The position was responsible to
the Board of Directors & Chairman.
2. Managed a workforce of nine hundred (900) plus personnel. Number of
directly reporting officers of the rank of Regional Directors and General
Managers was 12. Regional Directors comprise of 9 (nine) branches
located in 8 cities of Pakistan and 1 (one) in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Company’s total turnover comprising of all products was about PKR 4.0
Billion.
3. Key objectives of the position:-
i. Achieving the sales / revenue targets of the organization (at all the
nine offices in eight cities of Pakistan along with one office at Kabul,
Afghanistan).
ii. Ensuring trouble free operations of the organization.
iii. Ensuring company’s policies are enforced and general
administration of the organization.
iv. Preparation of yearly financial budget keeping in view the changes
expected during the year and progress of business activity.
v. Assisting the Human Resource department with the Performance
Evaluation and development of staff. Also preparation of career
plans of employees.
vi. Provide the Board of Directors ideas and recommendations for the
future growth, progress, strategy & development of the organization
and investment in new projects.
vii. Liaisoning and maintaining good relations with government
organizations/departments.
viii. Ensuring proper credit management and timely recoveries from
market.
ix. Liaison with foreign associates.
x. Responsibilities of the position also entail cost effective and most
economical use of allocated funds.

Industrial Projects for Power/Energy sector, Telecommunication Sector
and Oil & Gas Industry.

control of all the 9 Branches of the Company and responsible for the
Sales and Operations of the company on Country level.
Government of Pakistan, Islamabad with National
Transport Research Centre (NTRC) in the capacity of Assistant Chief.
The functions comprised of the following:-
i) Conducting research studies and evaluation on Ports, Shipping and
Inland Waterways sectors. Carried out 4 specialized research studies:-
- International Comparison of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation.
- Container Handling at Port Qasim.
- Comparison of Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) and
Pan Islamic Steamship Company.
- Reconnaissance Study on Indus River Navigation.
- Gwadar Port Study - An Evaluation.
ii) Conducting Inter-Ministerial meetings between various Government
departments and Technical Experts of transport sector.
iii) Visiting abroad on government assignments to attend seminars and
government meetings.
iv) Worked with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), UNDP,
World Bank and Committee on ECO (For Central Asian Republics)
v) Worked on the 5 (five) Years Transportation Plan Studies of Pakistan.
vi) Provided recommendations and suggestions to Ministry of
Communications and Ministry of Commerce for the development of
trade.
vii) Associated with the Pak Pro Project of the Government of Pakistan for
trade facilitation.
viii) Associated with the study on Transport policy for Pakistan.

Sargodha, Multan, Islamabad) targets are achieved for Revenue, Net
revenue, G.P. and Net Profit. Responsible for P&L of the region for all
products.
ii) Operational KPIs are maintained.
iii) Development of Teams, Interpersonal skills.
iv) Sales Activities and building relationship with Airlines, Shipping Lines
and Govt. Deptts. Agencies.
v) Responsible for finalizing RFQs, Contracts/Agreements, Legal assistance.
vi) Maintenance and Management of Credit facility and ensuring timely
recovery from market.
vii) Preparation of business plans. Devising strategies for capturing market
share.
viii) Ensuring all the products, viz, Freight forwarding, Transportation/Fleet
Management, 3 P/L, Warehosuing/Distribution, CHB, Projects Handling
are progressing as per the requirements and service levels agreed.
