Development of Group’s financial planning and reporting strategy to support the Group’s overall business objectives
Handling Budget Processes at Group Level, developing and Issuing guidelines /parameters to associated subsidiaries for individual budget preparation.

Overseeing VAT and Withholding return filing for a whole group and ensuring the regulatory Tax compliance
Liaison with SAP Team in optimizing the system usage and designing customized reports

Assessed overall impact of VAT on SAP and other legacy ERP systems and reviewed changes made on SAP and legacy ERP systems. Reviewed results of User acceptance testing and SAP testing with various test scenarios and provided feedback on those results
Prepared Financial Model for impact analysis of the VAT to determine the working capital and cash requirements
Delivered detailed interactive sessions with the client and provided assistance in preparation VAT user manuals
Implementation of VAT Governance and Compliance Model
Implementation of IFRS 15 & IFRS 16 in Mouwasaat Hospital
Involved in risk assessment of client including detailed variance analysis and planning procedures required to cover that risk
Application of the International Financial Reporting Standards, International Accounting Standards, International Auditing Standards, Corporate Laws and Taxation to ensure statutory financial statements compliance therewith
Prepared stand alone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with the reporting framework comprising of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and applicable local laws
