• Collaborate with Co-ordinator of Schools, Head of School, Heads of Cambridge Lower Primary (KS-1), Nursery and Crèche Departments respectively, for the overall success of the institution
• Report directly to the Head of School on KS-2 progress, challenges and ways forwards from time to time
• Work with a professional team of KS-2 class and subjects instructors to improve pupils’ learning outcomes
• Develop, fine-tune, update (as appropriate), monitor and ensure strict adherence to subjects curricula and school’s operational subject time-table on a daily basis
• Check, update and make necessary inputs to teachers’ notes of lessons to conform to current global practices and standards
• Observe subject and class instructors during lesson sessions from time to time for effective teaching/learning outcomes
• Monitor and ensure strict adherence of teachers to pupils’ homework schedules, submissions and markings
• Plan and execute excursions and educational visits for pupils to places of interest on a sectional basis
• Check and mark class and subjects teachers’ diaries and pupils’ registers on a weekly basis
• Sign and publish pupils’ results as and at when due
• Answer to parents’ and guardians’ needs regarding academic complaints and clarifications
• Hold periodic and regular meetings with KS-2 staffs, as to better pupils’ academic achievements
• Prepare, present and/or enroll pupils for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint-6, and other external/secondary entrance examinations and competitions with the aim of getting outstanding results
• Liaise with other management staffs for effective results and collaboration towards the growth of the institution
• Encourage and maintain pupils’ and staffs’ discipline at all times during school operational hours
• Develop, adapt, adopt and discuss effective and contemporary teaching skills and methods/strategies with KS-2 teaching team as to ultimately improve teachers’ expertise and experience, and pupils’ learning outcomes
• Engage teachers in in-house and out of school local and international teacher professional development programmes from time to time, as to keep them abreast of, and in line with current challenges and developments of the teaching profession

• Wrote monthly and termly feedback reports to parents and stewards on students’ and wards’ academic and moral successes, weaknesses and ways forwards
