Job Responsibilities:
• Organizing international logistics through Air, Sea and Land for imports from Europe, Middle East, and Far East.
• Responsible for developing and managing inventory, warehouse operations, supply chain solutions, procurement, and materials flow to meet organizational goals
• Planning delivery timetables expediting logistics to meet project deadlines as well as monitoring stock levels ensuring adequate stocks with minimum inventory levels and JIT Inventories.
• Dealing with multiple freight forwarders, liners and their counter parts to organize shipments of finished goods, projects and Retail sales.
• Reviewing and resolving document discrepancies with suppliers and constant update of regulation changes to them for hassle free customs clearances.
• Managing warehouse operations systems by determining product handling, safe and efficient receipts and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Ensuring effective function in every step of the process, and ensure that it is free from costly delays and lost sales opportunities.
• Working closely with warehouse staff, purchasing officers, and transport clerks to ensure that the materials and goods arrive and delivered at the distribution center on time.
• Planning and organizing Reverse Logistics and the transfer of materials and goods from suppliers and manufacturers to customers.
• Managing facility and drivers to ensure consolidated commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Review purchasing decisions, orders and vendor contracts to ensure requests are met in a timely manner. Address and resolve all order discrepancies immediately to ensure quality and maintain the organization's reputation.
