Dual Role of ALES HR & Sr. Group Executive Recruiter
In ALES HR, I am providing strategic and consultative HR insight and support to the MD of ALES. (7000+ employees in the ALES subsidiary), part of the Abu Dhabi based Al Jaber Group. Reporting directly to HR Director, the objective of this key role as ALES HR is to establish a strong partnership between the Group HR and the ALES Subsidiary to ensure synergy and a productive and efficient working relationship.

My role also acts as a change agent and employee advocate, as we restructure this subsidiary's organisation chart to correctly aligning existing talent identify talent acquisition and development needs. I take the initiative to actively bridging the gap between management and its staff to ensuring optimum utilization and performance of their employees and enlisting employee support and participation in new HR initiatives. Whilst I support all group cost control initiatives I strongly practice, encourage and maintain operational excellence and best HR practices throughout my work.

The group recognizingly utilizes my strong business acumen and head hunting expertise in my second role. I work on Special Projects and Critical/Key Executive Search Assignments (C/VP/D level positions) for the internal stakeholders/owners utilizing a corporate strategic approach to full life cycle talent acquisition methodologies. This unique role exclusively serves the Al Jaber Group to support the group's long-term growth and sustainability objectives within an ever increasing competitive marketplace

Aishah was approached directly by CEO with the mutual consent of her previous employer. Aishah was a key player in the restructuring of the organization and turning the CEO vision into a reality.

Key accomplishments are as follows:-

• LEO Sterling’s was successfully launched during the crashing Dubai real estate market. When she first joined there were only a handful of people working at the firm. Aishah head-hunted, retained, supported and developed an executive team in addition hired seasoned and self motivated sales people on commission only.
• Whilst hiring people Aishah was concurrently instrumental in the planning, execution and successful Launch of LEO Sterling.
• As part of her role Aishah created all company policy and procedures with an extensive HR manual. Developed a successful Recruitment System. Managed and supported employee expectations and motivation.
• She creatively developed and sought local and international training and development programs. .
• In addition she ensured that all employees including herself, IT, Marketing and the CFO were RERA certified.

Reason for Leaving:

Aishah was hired for a fundamental role in the restructuring of Leo Sterling previously known as Jamal Al-Habtoor which was apart of the Al-Habtoor group of companies prior to a management buy-out. As part of her role she participated in all board level and management decisions. She made a significant difference in the overall direction and success of the company with her unique and un-conventional approach to driving a business forward with her contribution. Aishah’s core strength lies in Start-ups and restructuring operations. LEO sterling retained her for this sole purpose, upon achieving this purpose and having further gained confidence in her abilities and accomplishments Aishah has decided work on a freelance basis accepting assignments that present unique opportunities and challenges
