o Implement and maintain company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) management system to ensure the compliance with relevant statutory requirements at all times, including the international standards, local regulations, code of practices and legal requirements.
o Develop occupational health and safety systems, including policies, procedures and manuals.
o Inspect workplaces and workplace equipment, such as scaffolding to ensure they meet safety regulations and to identify hazards and risks.
o Ensure that workplaces conform to organizational procedures and safety standards.
o Work with engineers and other professionals to ensure the safety of worksites and work practices.
o Ensure that personal protective equipment, such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets, is being used in workplaces according to regulations.
o Ensure that dangerous materials are correctly stored and labelled as required.
o Ensure that the organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation relating to its duty of care, workplace activities and the use of its plant, equipment and substances.
o Record & report hazards, accidents, injuries &health issues within the workplace.
o Assist with the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend remedial action.

o Coordinate with various Training providers and clients for HSE training arrangements.
o Develop the Training Plan & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in accordance with the annual HSE plan and Company policies & procedures.
o Develop the HSE training course manuals, and materials as per the training Plan and in line with the competency requirements to develop staff, and ensure that effective training is also provided to outsourcing contractors.
o Prepare overall training statistics, compile and reporting to management.
o Organizing the periodic safety committee meeting, preparation of agenda, minutes of meeting etc.
o Participate in the development and follow-up of the HSE department training Budget and monitor its financial performance, ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance to the approved budget.

o Coordinate and participate in Fire evacuation drills.
o Maintain Training evaluation reports & compiles training statistics on a weekly & monthly basis.
