Understanding the Business Requirements by reviewing the BRS and Design documents.
Attending and participating in regular scrum meetings with clients to understand the scope and requirements of the product.
Preparation of Test plan, Test scenarios and Test scripts based on client requirements.
Identifying, Reporting and Tracking defects using tools like JIRA.
Preparation of Test completion reports, Estimation reports, Automation Test Plan, Defect analysis and other documentations.
Handled Test summary report preparation, Daily and weekly status reporting, Entry/Exit criteria.
Test data setup and follow up with project team for Test environments to be available for testing to commence.
Involved in providing resolution or workarounds in case of any issues in the project & develop risk mitigation plan. Effective system knowledge to troubleshoot errors.
The key tasks performed during this project are,
Analysis of documents BRD, SRS & other requirement documents.
Involved in project scoping, effort estimation, test scheduling and resource allocations.
Development of Detailed Test Plans, Phase Test Plan and Test Requirement Scenario Identification.
Raising Project Issues and Risks in project share point & highlight key constraints.
Identifying test scenarios and areas of Progression & Regression testing of the application.
Test script preparation/ execution in QC/ALM.
Detect defects and classify them by severity (critical, high, medium or low priority defects).
Periodical review of test cases to ensure scope changes are captured.
Address data requests raised by test teams for SIT/UAT.
Co-ordinate testing activities across SIT, UAT, and other downstream application/upstream and Interface partners.
Leading and mentoring a team of 12 which includes Test Analysts and Senior Test Analysts from daily allocation of tasks and clarifying doubts in various modules of the application.
Have performed the role of SME (Subject matter expert) for this project with periodical walkthroughs to the offshore team.
Defect management skills to co-ordinate between different teams in various geographic locations. Analysis of defects and prioritization based on business requirements. Preparing defect status report to share with project team and highlighting the need for quick resolution of defects.
