Responsibilities:
 Project Reviews and Technical Support: Reviewing the Electrical & Instrumentation related
documents (such as Single Line Diagram, Load lists, equipment’s data Sheets, Load calculations, Cable
Sizing, lighting power adequacy check reports, lighting calculations, Instrument air tubing hook ups,
Instrument wiring hook ups, impulse line hook ups, tie-in lists, Alarm set point list, DCS I/O
assignment list etc).
 Project Execution: Overall Supervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in
accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, other
contractors, etc. Educate the installation procedure of various instruments like gas detectors,
analyzers, vaporizers, mixing vessels, indications panels, transformers, motors, RMUs, MDBs, PDBs,
temperature/pressure transmitters, thermos wells, control valves etc to job engineers as well as
supervisors

and PCI project “Replacement of RG alpha water makerRGCP-464”.
 Coordination with Management: Co-ordination with the project manager, construction managers,
senior engineers and QC Inspectors of other disciplines to solve critical issues regarding the project.
Co-ordinate with HR department for the requirement of manpower mobilization and de-mobilization
as per site necessities
 Documentation: Developing and implementing project procedures, material approvals, technical
queries, job safety analysis, etc.
 Field Engineering: Provide on-site administrative and technical management of field related
activities on construction project site.
 Review and Approval: Review detailed engineering deliverables including documentation,
requisition for procurement monitor approval submission of related discipline documentation.
 Coordination with Others: Require interaction with third-party contractors, Operations dept. and
provide commissioning
 Management Meeting/Client meetings: Attend weekly management/client’s meetings and
understand & fulfil their requirements and suggestions
 Staffing: Managing the E&I staffing including all Engineers and supervisors, ensures all the quality
requirements are met
 Team Selection: Select team members and, if cross-functional as the Core Team Leader, select Core
Team Members.
 Project Resources: Apply project resources according to the approved project plan
 Design Review: Involve functional expertise in design reviews and key decisions as well as risk
strategies
 Vendor Coordination: Close analyzing the requirement of vendors for the project execution, inviting
and arranging them for implementing their role if required
 JSA/JHA Review & Approval: Reviewing, correcting and approval for the JSA/JHA prepared by job
focal points prior to submit to client
 Generation of Electrical & Instrument ITP’s/QCP/Material Approval Request prior for project plan
execution.
 Conduct and supervise Receiving Inspection, In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection of electrical
and instrumentation related products and construction work.
 Visual, Close and Detailed inspection for E & I equipment installed at site.
 Check installation are maintained in accordance to standard/hook-up drawing and satisfactory
condition for hazardous area.
 Review, verify and ensure timely completion of Mechanical Completion Dossiers, As-Built drawings
(PEF’s/P&ID, Hook-Up, Single-Line Diagram, Block Diagram, ILD, Interconnection Wiring diagram)
and liaise with the Client’s representatives.
 Assist in carrying out a variety of construction/pre-commissioning/commissioning related tasks.
