Responsibilities -
• Leading team of Specification Writers for Architectural/Civil, Structural and Landscape Specifications, Checking of Specification by other Disciplines and overall co-ordination related to Specification output for all important Projects. Working Experience of producing Specification in CSI MASTER Format, for several Commercial, Residential, Institutional and Office Building projects.
• Contributing in technical studies and approval the new products and materials for incorporation in the company’s vendors list.
• Providing technical assistance for review of material submittals and shop drawings, Vendors Prequalification submittals.
• Research - Arrange meetings and technical presentations with manufacturers and suppliers
Currently handling following project specifications -
• New Port Authority Project, Doha. (Commercial Project)
• ISF (Internal Securty Forces - Lekhwiya), Doha. (Mixed Use Project)
• Doha Festival City, Doha. (Commercial Project)
• Qatari Diar Headquarter Building, Lusail, Doha (Commercial Project)
Responsibilities -
• Coordination with consultants, sites and clients for smooth operation of execution of projects.
• Daily site visits for monitoring work as per the work schedules project specifications and the drawings.
• Technical assistance for material submittals, shop drawings, material selections and the specifications related issues in projects.
Worked on the following projects-
• Hawar International School, West Riffa, Bahrain.
• Renovation works at Al Majd Public School, Bilad Al Qadeem, Bahrain.
• Construction of private villas in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Responsibilities -
• Lead a team of Architects for the production of architectural details and Specification Documents based as per American or British Standards.
• Co-ordination with the internal Architectural, Interior Designing, Structural & Services depts. for the preparation of drawings and specification documents.
• To provide technical assistance for review of material submittals and shop drawings.
• Arrange meetings and technical presentations with manufacturers and suppliers.
• To provide technical assistance to design team for material inputs.
• Knowledge of AIA MasterSpec, MasterFormat (Latest Edition).
Worked on the following projects-
• Diar Dushanbe Project, Dushanbe, Tajikistan. (Mixed use project)
• Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahmam Women’s University, Riyadh, KSA. (Mixed use project)
• La Plage South at The Pearl, Doha, Qatar. (Residential project)
• Hamad Medical City, Doha, Qatar. (Healthcare project)
• 5 Primary Health Centers at Al Karaana, Al Ghuwariyah, Al Roda, Al Muntazah and Al Ghuwariyah, Qatar. (Healthcare use project)
• King Abdullah Financial District, KSA. (Commercial use project)
• Fortaleza Shopping Center, Luanda, Angola. (Commercial use project)
Work Background -
The two resorts are Makaanaa Spa Resort & Salus Fushi Spa Resort at Vagaaru & Meradhoo Islands respectively.
• Site areas - 75900 Sqm (18.75 Acres) and 476600 Sqm ( 118 Acres) respectively.
• Total Built up areas - Approx. 15000 Sqm. and 23000 Sqm. respectively
• Activities - Land Villas, Water Villas, B.O.H. Areas, Public Buildings, Restaurants in water, Dive Center, Service Buildings, Spa Buildings, Pathways & Jetty constructions etc.
Responsibilities -
• Was handling the Design Development, Management & Execution of two Spa Resorts.
• Was directly working on sites on the clients’ side for the design finalization of the Projects.
• Co-ordination with the International Architectural, Structural & Services Consultants to achieve the targets with quality drawings and regular site visits.
• Involved into the Management processes for the project like, Material Procurement.
Responsibilities -
• Initial stage meetings Preparation of good for construction drawings. Responsible for proper completion of project in a stipulated period.
• Start to end Co-ordination with External consultants and in house team for the preparation of bid documents and execution.
• On site monitoring and evaluation of adherence to construction drawings in both Civil and Interior works.
Achievements - Accolade for timely completion of bid documents.
