1. Ajay has been working as a Senior Associate and reports to the Director - Strategic Business Unit.
2. Ajay has managed task order based projects with complete independence. He has been responsible for program design, development and budgeting; and defending them in front of client for funding commitments.
3. Ajay is responsible for client management by providing client with technical advice, appropriate analysis, and timely response to client queries and maintaining project MIS and dashboard for Monitoring and Evaluation requirements.
4. Ajay’s responsibilities include managing resource allocation, resource utilization, meeting program objectives, and maintaining pertinent dollar burn-rate while adhering to agreed timeline and delivery schedule.
5. Ajay is responsible for contract management; negotiating contracts with vendors and third parties to align the deliverables with the requirements and objectives of the client.
Key task which Ajay has accomplished includes:-
a) Developed a regional Centre of Excellence in Micro Hydro Power plant in Nepal.
b) Developed the South Asian Transmission Utility Regional Network (SATURN) and successfully lead the operations for initial year.
c) Provided technical assistance to a commercial bank for floating an equity fund focused for development of Hydro power projects in Nepal.
d) Undertook detailed techno-commercial analysis for development of Wind Power project in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
e) Undertaking performance monitoring and supervising reduction of Discom’s AT&C losses through periodic analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
f) Lead a study on benchmarking regulatory best practices for promoting market development of renewable energy.
g) Rolled out capacity building training program on Regulatory and Policy Framework for Market Development for Renewable Energy in India (Wind power, Solar energy and Micro hydro).
Ajay provided consultancy support to clients by providing them advisory services on issues related to policy/planning, reform, energy pricing-tariff modeling, and regulatory issues in power sector. Key projects undertaken:-
a) Electricity Tariff determination for Jharkhand State Electricity Board.
Client: Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
b) Comparative analysis of utility Tariff order of nine States of India
Client: Ministry of Power, GoI.
Worked as a Graduate Trainee, with an electrical appliance company, job responsibilities involved:-
a) Leading sales and after sales service team.
b) Strengthen the distribution network.
c) Independent handling of institutional buyers.
Regular MBA degree program from a highly reputed Government owned educational institution. Apart from general MBA inputs (Finance, HR, Marketing and Strategy) an additional inputs have been on infrastructure side (specifically - Power/Energy Sector ). Have been in top 5 student of my batch.
Have majored in Mechanical Engineering. Have been awarded an Honors degree due to excellent performance in academics.
