Assisting the Recruitment team with various formalities, Updating of HRIS, processing of various request relating to Promotions, demotions, transfers, reimbursements, working towards achieving daily targets and ensuring timely and accurate completion of work. I was also part of a training committee who's main objective was to design Learning modules in order to increase the employees overall productivity and personal satisfaction.
Handling customer enquiries, upselling of company services and assisting with Billing formalities.
Creating awareness of the companies products and services. I was involved in E-mail Marketing campaigns, contacting potential customers through cold calling and enhancing the companies customer base. Explaining the schemes available to the customer and payment plans ultimately leading to the closure of the sale.
This was a two year full time course which covered various aspects of a Business such as Marketing, Sales, Organizational Structure, Human resources, Finance, Business law, Business Statistics and Organizational behaviour. It helped me get an understanding of the Marketing procedures and differences while catering to other Businesses as well as Direct Consumers, I have also understood what are the essential qualities of an effective sales person such as product knowledge, understanding the needs of the customer and formulating a sales pitch which would ultimately lead to closure of the sale. A sales person should also posses excellent Communication and listening skills in order to understand the needs of the customer and prove to the customer that they have the right product or service that would satisfy the consumer's needs. Effective feedback and post sales activities are also important in enlarging the company's customer base and building loyal customers. This course has also taught me the Organizational Structure and Hierarchy of various Business which has helped me Identify Key Decision Makers in various Departments of a Company. I have also learnt the key areas of Human resources such as what to look for in an individual while recruiting for particular position, analysing his/her current skill set and areas of development and what it requires for an employee to drive for results. It has also taught me about work life Balance and how it affects an individuals performance. Dissertation: Consumer Behaviour related to FMCG products. This project has helped me identify the key indicators that play an important role in influencing the Buying behaviour of a Customer. When a customer is looking to purchase a particular product, the customer would first compare features with other products in the same product line most importantly Price, Packaging and advertising plays an important role in creating a vivid image of the product in the subconscious mind of the consumer, which would ultimately influence the customers Decision Making Process. When it comes to Retail Sales not only important factors such as Discounts and offers drives a customer decision but also placement, effective merchandising and planogram formats play an important role. It is important to segment the customers based on their Social and Financial status which would help in realizing and serving their needs better. Internship : Completed a 45 day Internship Program at Shreeji Interiors Bangalore, The primary purpose was to understand the functioning of various departments in an organization. I also assisted with Business Development procedures such as filing of tender documents, contacting potential Prospects and a have also performed Hr functions pertaining to recruitment.
