This project has helped me identify the key indicators that play an important role in influencing the Buying behaviour of a Customer. When a customer is looking to purchase a particular product, the customer would first compare features with other products in the same product line most importantly Price, Packaging and advertising plays an important role in creating a vivid image of the product in the subconscious mind of the consumer, which would ultimately influence the customers Decision Making Process. When it comes to Retail Sales not only important factors such as Discounts and offers drives a customer decision but also placement, effective merchandising and planogram formats play an important role. It is important to segment the customers based on their Social and Financial status which would help in realizing and serving their needs better.
