• To conduct external/internal safety audit and prepare site safety records, as monthly Accident summary, Weekly Reports, Monthly Reports, Injury/Accident Report, Near Miss Report, First Aid /Medical Record and safety inspection.
• Auditing of subcontractor’s activities and HS&E requirements.
• Implement Monthly HSE monitoring program and score card system.
• Organizing Attending weekly / monthly / safety committee meetings.

• Implement Permit to Work (PTW) system (Hot Work, High Voltage Permit, Confined Space, and Permit to excavation) train people, conduct periodic inspection and ensure that system is implemented. Prepared Method Statement and Task Specific Risk Assessment for High Voltage equipment use.
• Advising the senior management on the health and safety requirements.
• Liaising with Client and consultant safety representative for the improvement of safety standard
• Monitoring and evaluating the compliance of Legal and other requirements/ reviewing the performance.
• Health, Safety and Environmental inspections and auditing are carried out to monitor systems compliance.
• Advice on the requirements for site welfare and carry out regular inspections of the facilities, reporting any concerns to the Project Manager.
• Develop/guide/review PHSEPs, Fire Emergency Plans, Waste management plans, Traffic Management Plans, Lifting Operation Plans etc.
• Liaison with consultant / client and Senior HSE Management to resolve HSE issues, developed H&S strategy for sub-contractors.
• Continual improvement solutions input in the monthly Directors HSE meeting/PHSE meetings.

•To promote a positive HSE culture within and outside the organization.
•Provide safety induction for all employees-including subcontractors’ employees, visitors and maintain records.
•Implement Project Health, Safety and Environment plan.
•Monitoring and evaluating the compliance of Legal and other requirements/ reviewing the performance.

•Carryout site Inspection with checklists daily and weekly, identify the hazards, risk control measures, prioritize the risk and follow up until it is closed out and post the information to top management regularly.

Project Description: Abraj Quartier Gateway Tower
The project comprises an Eight (8) level Parking Podium of approximate total
built-up area of 38, 976m2; Forty three (43) levels High Rise Office Towers of
approximate total built-up area of 75, 763m2 of which office space is
approximately 51, 730m2 on ground to 38th floors to be constructed as core
and shell. The Scope of Works includes the construction of substructure,
superstructure and external works.
The duties include but not limited to
* Inspecting the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
* Conducting toolbox talks, MSRA communications etc.
* Verifying injury logs and reports are completed and submitted to
management. Ensuring it is communicated to workers has been done.
* Follow up and close outs of incidents and observations.
* Verifying that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use.
* Creating Safety Alerts and ensure it is communicated among the work
force
• Promoting safe practices at the job site.
• Enforcing safety guidelines.
• Carrying out emergency response drills and exercising on how to manage
emergency situations.
• Reports to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by
regulations.
• Establishing safety standards and policies as needed.
