As a Senior Manager -IT Infrastructure is responsible for Server, Network, and Security Infrastructure for the core Datacenter and for various offices in UAE and across different countries:
• Planning the annual IT budget
• Planning new projects based on the projected growth of the organization.
• Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration and installation. Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and revamping of entire IT infrastructure of the company, including LAN/WAN and security.
• Creating Policies and Procedures for Information Security Management Systems Implementation including business continuity management (BCM), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), IT Risk Assessment.
• Creating documents for Disaster recovery and business continuity process.
• Vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation.
• Design the network architecture for centralizing the IT infrastructure of Indian Oil.
• Implementation of Teir1 data center.
• Relocation of data center by doing a fail over to DR site.
• Design and implementation of IP Scheme
• Implementation of OSPF and converting the EIGRP domain to OSPF.
• SAP roll out to more than 1000 locations across the country.
• Setting up the VSAT network with more than 600 remote VSAT locations and 50 PAMA circuits
• Setting up terrestrial network including installation and configuration of cisco7513 router for countrywide connectivity.
• Setup and configuration of layer three 6509 switches for Data centre and 4507 switches for Disaster Recovery.
