GCPO is a strategic position which is also the member of the Committee for Corporate Governance, the decision making body of the Conglomerate.

This position directly reports to Board and responsible for effective planning, developing, and implementing a fully integrated human resources strategy for aamra companies including manpower planning and analysis in alignment with the business plan, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recognition, training & rightsizing.


Accomplishments:

•Introduced uniform Central HR & Organizational Development for all the SBUs under aamra.

•Introduced HR through line management, keeping the HR team lean.

•Introduced “Shigoto” as the core focus of HR Strategy.

•Introduced automated Participatory Appraisal Process.

•Initiated Goal centric performance Management Process and established accountability of the key positions.

•HR performance rating increased by 50% in first year (Staff Survey Report).

•Introduced “360 degree Appraisal”- automated 360 degree feedback for all management staffs.
