GCPO is a strategic position which is also the member of the Committee for Corporate Governance, the decision making body of the Conglomerate.
This position directly reports to Board and responsible for effective planning, developing, and implementing a fully integrated human resources strategy for aamra companies including manpower planning and analysis in alignment with the business plan, talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, recognition, training & rightsizing.
Accomplishments:
•Introduced uniform Central HR & Organizational Development for all the SBUs under aamra.
•Introduced HR through line management, keeping the HR team lean.
•Introduced “Shigoto” as the core focus of HR Strategy.
•Introduced automated Participatory Appraisal Process.
•Initiated Goal centric performance Management Process and established accountability of the key positions.
•HR performance rating increased by 50% in first year (Staff Survey Report).
•Introduced “360 degree Appraisal”- automated 360 degree feedback for all management staffs.
•Executed Reward & Recognition processes across all the SBUs of aamra.

This was a strategic position which was also the member of the MANCOM (Management Committee), the decision making body
of the Conglomerate.
Accomplishments:
• Initiated and implemented “SBU concept” in the conglomerate.
• Initiated and developed Process Flow, Organization charts and work force planning with JDs and JSs for the key
positions of the organization.
• Introduced employee development & benefit policies as well as review of some policies added remarkable value to the
group; e.g.
a. Reviewed Leave Procedures, aligned it in line with BLC 2006, put a positive impact of BDT. 2.3 million in a year for TK Group
of Industries.s
b. “Extra Work Process” in Samuda Chemical Complex Ltd minimized 57% of the cost.

This position was a member of the MANCOM (Management Committee) and reportable to Chief Operating Officer, TEL.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Reviewing the present Policies & Procedures of Transcom Electronics Limited and identifying the areas of development
benchmarking with the competitors and market leaders in different trades.
• Initiating strategic development propositions (Policy & Procedure) to ensure enhanced level of efficiency to create the edge
in business.
• Executing the proposed organizational and employee development Policies & Procedures upon approval of the Board.
• Initiating and coordinating periodical Training Programs along with training budget to minimize the gaps identified.

4. Manager, General Services, BRAC Bank Ltd.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Provide key inputs to MANCOM Members in the strategic decision making process related to General Services Department.
• Manage performance motivations and expectations of General Services Department.
• Develop and align people initiatives and process in General Services to meet organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement Succession Planning with the Head of the Division for the Department.
• Develop organizational development strategies.
• Oversee staff support programs, employee relation and grievance management.
• Preparing Annual Performance Appraisal Report of the division.

• Planning and implementing training and development programs for employees of the division.
• Manage departmental budget and ensure within budget completion of activities in compliance with established financial
standards.
• Assure on time within budget execution of all the projects.
Team Member Focus Group:
• Committee Member to initiate and implement the “Performance Appraisal Procedures (Performance Development Review)”of
the Bank.
• Prepared the “Code of Conduct” of BRAC Bank Ltd.
