Perform High-resolution regional climate modelling over Southern Peninsular India using RegCM 4.5. Study of the regional-scale phys- ical processes using RCM’s. Variability of the northeast monsoon and its relation to the synoptic scale features. Application of RCMs for the seasonal climate prediction. Study of seasonal and annual variation of precipitation for different climatic modes. Rainfall and temperature projections over Southern Peninsular India will give the changes in the frequency and intensity of droughts and extreme rainfall amounts across this region. Also, preprocessing and analysis of ST radar data installed at Cochin University. Manuscript/Project report preparation.
