SKILL SUMMARY
1. Maintenance of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Equipments ( Cylinders, Valves, FRL units etc), Compressors, Pumps, Strapping Machines, Over Head Cranes.
2. Involved in material planning Through SAP in MM and PM modules and manpower planning activities.
3. Preventive Maintenance Monitoring, Monthly PM Schedule, Monthly report, Equipment spare list and plant related activities.
4. Responsible for dismantling, assembling, and troubleshooting of plant & machines
5. Increasing mean time between failures & reducing mean time to repair the machines, thereby increasing productivity.
6. Determining appropriate Standard Procedures.
7. Giving training on critical machines to Technicians and New Engineers.
8. Knowledge in various work permit systems and industrial safety system.
9. Co-ordinate with other departments like QC/QA, Design, Planning and Control.
10. Co-ordination and execution of work to the satisfaction of client, Quick communication and remedial actions during Shutdown. Monitoring of all work activities and tool usage by safety directing the works using ZERO ACCIDENT PHILOSOPHY with all required work permits.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning & coordinating the routine maintenance of plant equipments and machinery.
2. Achieve target MTBF. Diagnose faults, FMEA, CA and RCA of shift breakdowns.
3. Spares management Through SAP (Availability and maintain optimum inventory level) . Oversee time-critical repairs to minimize downtime and increase the availability of equipment/machinery.
4. Maintenance of Cast house equipments like Ingot Casting Machine, Wire rod mill, Billet Casting Machine.
5. Maintenance of EOT Cranes, Air Compressors, Rotating Equipments, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipments with accessories.
6. Preparation of workshop operational report, daily maintenance report, updating weekly/monthly reports, maintaining equipment's history card, Creating SAP notifications of Maintenance activities in PM module.
7. Ensuring hazard free operation (zero accident) and develop technical competencies in management and workmen.
8. Implementing and training of SWP, SMP and SOP's to technicians at work place and emphasizing on the ISO & OSHAS (occupational Safety Health and assessment Series) standards.
9. Good relationship management, communication skills with the ability to network members, consultants, contractors and statutory agencies.
10. 1. Lead and contributed as Team player by taking one SIX SIGMA, QC, LQC project per year for financial benefits of the organisation.
