Providing technical assistance to problems being faced by Boiler & Auxiliaries.
Adoption of newer technologies to improve performance.
Currently, I am working in CLP India’s 2x660 MW Coal based super critical Power plant at Jhajjar, Haryana.
In this green Field project, my contribution included the project execution & monitoring from the “owner end”. The project was successfully commissioned within the time frame and budget. This project on Completion has been received many accolades from the Indian industry for its execution.
My team was responsible for the execution & monitoring of all Mechanical equipment of this 2x660 MW power station.(Including Boiler, Turbine Generator, Balance of Plants, Coal Handling plant etc.)
On Completion of the project, I have taken up the responsibility of the maintenance of this power station. Currently, I am leading the maintenance team of this station.
I am responsible for the availability of the plant by maintaining all equipments through a team of Engineering Professionals.
Motivation, development of the team to achieve the results is one of the responsibilities.
I have involved in the maintenancestrategy of the plant and had been instrumental in forming the team.

After the completion of engineering Graduation, I had joined NTPC Ltd, a leading Indian Public Sector Power Generation Company.
NTPC had provided 12 month training on various aspects of Power Plant Operation, Maintenance, Erection etc .I have worked in NTPC’s Talcher Super Thermal Power Plant of 6units of 500 MW for 19 years from Engineer to Middle level Manager.
During these 19 years, I had the opportunity to work in the Project Execution & Maintenance teams.
My Responsibilities included:
a. Project Execution in NTPC
1. Preparation of execution plan for the erection of Boiler & in Maintenance &coordination with erection agency for the erection of equipments in line with master networks.
2. Resource planning & tying up with the agency .
3. Initiation of proposal for the procurement of Spares & other equipments. ( during my working in Maintenance)
4. Arranging of owner inputs.
5. Identification of materials required for erection, ensuring its timely supply at site.
6. Initiation of Contract proposal & preparation of estimates for the award of job contracts.
7. Coordination for the terminal points identification & definition in various contracts.
8. Trouble shooting in Boiler Maintenance activities.
9. Allocation & division of tasks among the team members
10. Review of Progress of Erection & Overhauling activities.
11. Coordination between erection agency & commissioning teams.

Major Responsibilities while in Maintenance of Talcher STPP, which is a 3000 MW Unit of NTPC Ltd. Are
1. Technical Trouble Shooting of the boilers.
2. Root Cause Analysis
3. Planning of the Boiler Overhauling4. Procurement of Spares for the Boiler maintenance.
5. Preparation of Contracts for Job execution.
6. Development of Spares.
7. Running Maintenance of Boilers.
As a part of the present job, Boiler Overhauling is being planned and executed. Details are:
1. Preparation of Scope of Overhauling job. This is being prepared after analyzing the failure History of the Boiler, Age of the Boiler, Operational behavior etc.
2. Preparation of the Contract for Overhauling.
3. Identification of Spares required for Overhauling.
4. Preparation of Technical specification, Procurement of spares.
5. Mobilisation of Agencies for overhauling.
6. Inspection & identification of damages of the Boiler.
7. Execution of the jobs.
8. Assistance in Re commissioning of the Boiler.
In addition to above, I am responsible for the development of my subordinates also.
Experience at CLP India ( Current Job)

I have graduated from University of Kerala , India. Ihad done in education at TKM Colege of Engineering in Kollam. I had scored 75.2 % in Mechanical Engineering . This is the qualification for the Degree in First class with Distinction.
