Duties and Responsibilities
• Packaging development of new products.
• Initiating new product ideas or enhancements to existing products for customers.
• Responsible for providing expert technical support for the development of packaging boxes.
• Responsible for developing Primary as well as secondary packaging material.
• Identifies opportunities and establishes action plans to optimize Packaging capabilities.
• Selection of right packaging material best suited with respective products
• Handling of Cost cutting projects.
• Generated and conceived new product ideas.
• Develop product design strategies and concepts according to customer requirements.
• Prepare product design specifications and create design sketches and drawings.
• Plan and execute product designs within allotted time frame
• Analyze and troubleshoot package issues and constraint in a timely manner.
• Share new design ideas and methodologies with management
• Evaluate product designs and recommend improvements.
• Use CAD software to develop product models.
• Ensure that final products meet customer requirements.
• Develop process improvements to ensure product quality and productivity.
• Follow best practices to ensure smooth and continuous product development operations.
• Maintain expert knowledge on product development procedures.
• Follow design standards and adhere to company policies.
