•Heads the Mechanical & Civil function of the green field project, the first phase of which is worth INR 20 Billion (29.7 Million Euro ) .
•In charge of Mechanical & Civil jobs of the Project
•Involved right from the start up & designed the layout for the manufacturing plant as well as the process
•Liaisoned with various governmental bodies like Pollution control board, factory inspectorate etc, prior to start up of work at site.
•Provide Civil & structural consultant with necessary inputs on Building Design & Equipment foundations
•Ensure jobs carried out at site are in line with requirement of the organization
•Coordination between SEPR, Architect & Contractor
•Define the right equipments & machineries for the new plant based on production requirement
•Identification of the right vendors for the above machineries & equipments
•Contracts finalization for the various sub-contracted activities
•Ensure on time completion of Project within the Budget
•Ensure compliance with statutory regulation w.r.t to PCB, factory inspectorate

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• To ensure in the design stage itself that the overall design of the project is in line with the objectives of the organisation.
• Proper Planning of jobs at site to ensure a flaw-less progress of the jobs
• Organising resources for on time delivery at site
• Guide Site Engineers & contractor in the right direction, in case of ambiguities
• Regular monitoring of expenditure to ensure budget does not exceed than planned Recruitment of technically competent persons for services function.
• Ensure 100% adherence to safety guidelines of Saint Gobain.
Graduation in Mechanical Engineering. In plant training done at Petrochemical divsion of FACT ( Fertilizers & chemicals Travancore Ltd). Project was on the concept of mechatronics. Did AutoCAD R 12, as an addition to curriculam
