Senior IT Specilist is responsible for all the IT infrastructure management, IT budgeting and IT Project Management and Delivery.
Duties and responsibilities:-
• Assisting Application Manager to deliver the new project
• Training the end user on new modules of the Application
• Point out the issues reported by the users, and solving this in a timely manner.
• Define Project scope, goal and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
• Draft and submit budget proposals for approval and communicate with different vendors to deliver the project/services.
• Managing the IT Infrastructure
• Monitor the CMS website of the company and update as per the requirement of the company.
• Responsible for all the MS Exchange Server email related activities like creating new email, configuring email to Outlook and Mobile Phones etc.
• Configuration and Management of CISCO IP phone System.
• Responsible for purchasing & maintaining up-to-date License records from various service providers namely Microsoft, Cisco & Symantec to meet Business requirements
• Responsible for all types of backup like Database Backup, File Server Backup, Email Backup etc.
• Maintaining the file server by sharing and giving different types of authorities to different levels of users.
• User support for AIMS (Oracle Based Insurance Application System).
• Administrating and maintaining AIMS(Advance Insurance Management System), an Oracle based Insurance Application.
• Database Administration -Oracle
• Provide IT Administration and support for more than 60 users of different levels.
• Provide day-to-day support for Network, Server, Application and hardware.
• Trouble shooting all hardware related problems.
• Configuring and trouble shooting devices like scanners, printers, network printers etc
• Configuring and managing mail clients like Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express etc.
• Configuring all types of Modems and Wireless Devices.
• Administrating Windows Active Directory
• Configuring Domain and Work Group Network.
• Responsible for System Back up
• Setting up and updating Operating System, Security Programs etc as per user requirement.
• Analyze IT requirements for company and give advice to the concerned person.
• Giving different levels of software training for different users.
• Developed application software as per the requirement from concerned departments.
• Played a good role in Company’s web development.
• Analyze the problems of current Insurance System in the company; and supported the Application Development team in all the stages of System Analysis and Design of the new Insurance Application
