My transition to the Real Estate Developers sector as a Deputy Manager of Accounts and Finance brought with it a fresh set of challenges and opportunities. Here, I assumed a pivotal role in managing the financial landscape, overseeing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I played a vital role in aligning financial strategies with organizational objectives and contributed to informed decision-making.
In my capacity as an Audit Associate, I undertake a range of critical responsibilities. Firstly, I actively participate in meticulous audit planning, collaborating with senior team members to set the audit's objectives and scope. Next, I execute thorough fieldwork, meticulously examining financial records and documentation to ensure accuracy. My role extends to risk assessment, where I identify vulnerabilities in clients' financial systems and assess internal controls' effectiveness in risk mitigation.
I also prioritize effective communication, engaging with clients, team members, and management throughout the audit process to provide clear findings and practical recommendations.
Staying current with evolving accounting and auditing standards is crucial to ensure our clients' regulatory compliance. Lastly, my commitment to continuous professional development equips me to serve clients effectively while upholding integrity and competence in all aspects of my work.
