Involved in Maintenance (Preventive, Corrective & Emergency Call-out) of Crude Oil Metering System of Al-Khafji Joint operations (a Joint Venture of Kuwait Oil Gulf Company & Aramco Gulf Operations).
Duties and responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning & execution of Preventive & Corrective Maintenance of entire Metering stations comprising of Turbine Meter (Faure Herman), Flow Computer (Omni 6000), Provers & Metering Control System, Supervisory Computers & other associated critical components as per Relative Standards.

• Actively looking for the Metering Skid Package, product range (PT, TT, LT, FT, manifolds), System (DP Diagnostic Tool) along with software solution (Loss Detection) concerning the oil and gas metering.
• Active participation with Engineering team with respect to Site inspection, scope finalization, Price negotiation, Technical and Commercial Query, attend Pre-Bid/Pre-Tender Meeting as and when required, timely follow-up with client on project updates and requirements, Set-up meetings between client decision makers and company’s leaders/Principals.
• Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer objectives & inquiries.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs in Measurement field.
• To guide client/end-user on implementing latest technology with respect to latest standard in order to improve efficiency of system and enhance the long-term productivity.

Involved in Fiscal Metering & Custody Transfer Validation and Calibration & Storage Tank Calibration Activity.

Projects:
Metering:
1) Validation of Flow Computers, Flow meters & GCs at GAIL Hazira, KRIBHCO, ONGC Hazira.
2) Validation & Calibration of CAIRN INDIA sales gas metering system & fuel gas meter at SUVALI ONSHORE TERMINAL.
Storage Tank Calibration: At various places in Chennai, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh etc.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Third Party Inspection for the metering system at client sites for calibration of secondary elements (PT, TT & DPT), validation of flow meters, Compliance auditing, certification & Consulting for efficient and smooth operation of liquid & gas metering system as per industry standards(AGA & GPA).
• Calculation of flow and energy form different international standards for uncertainty calculation relating to flow measurement.
• Calibration of vertical & horizontal tanks as per EODR & strapping method for clients and providing certification from government authority.
• Job analysis, Job costing, tender submission, On site work, report preparation, proper documentation & Technical satisfaction to the client.

• Requirement gathering, requirement analysis, analyzing business needs, and feasibility study relating Fiscal Metering & Custody transfer.
• Interact with the field technicians to troubleshoot communication issues and ensure that RTUs are configured to show the correct data in the SCADA host systems.
• Steering entire operations for handling field & control room instruments, their calibration, installation and testing as per specified maintenance procedure and simulation.

• Calibration of Electronic and SMART Transmitters of different makes (Rosemount, Honeywell, ABB, Yokogawa etc.) for the measurement of Pressure, Differential Pressure, Flow, Temperature, and Level.
• Calibration and servicing of Control Valves, Installation, Calibration and Configuration of smart positioners.
• Commissioning of Field Instruments in Production Plant (GGS & Pipelines).
• Calibration and maintenance (repair) of Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level Switches and Gauges, I/P and P/I Converters.
• Hands on experience in DCS and PLC based control system installation and commissioning.
• DCS Programming, SCADA Development and Control System Development for Process & Electrical Control Systems.
• Installation, Designing and Commissioning of Electrical & Instrumentation Panels, DCS, PLC, SCADA, 3rd party communication and Field Instrumentation engineering.
• Involved in Rig Instrumentation (Mud logging) - installing, commissioning and preparing the depth processing unit/well wizard, gas chromatograph (Varian CP 4900) and gas detection system
• Responsible for maintenance, service, troubleshooting & calibration of different field instruments like differential type pressure sensor, torque sensor, ultrasonic level sensor, flow, temperature sensor, inductive proximity based strokes counter & RPM, incremental type optical encoder for depth processing, load cell, 4-20mA transmission using Depth Processing Unit (DPU) and transmission of data through Data Acquisition System (DAS)
