The I²C-Bus is a simple 2-wire bus that allows controllers and computers to connect to specialized IC's like EEPROM, RTC and many others. The i2c controller that used on our board has four registers, here our platform driver is used to send data to i2c controller and then to slave devices. It can support a multi-master I2C-bus serial interface. A dedicated serial data line and serial clock line carry information between bus masters and peripheral devices which are connected to the I2C-bus.The SDA and SCL lines are bidirectional. To control multi-master I2c-bus operations four registers and it consist of four operations modes. It consist of standard bus arbitration procedure is used for multi-master mode operation.
