• Responsible for National SCM operations spread across 11 circles with reporting of 9 SCM Heads for app 500 mil USD AOP
• SCM KPI's for Capex/ Opex Procurement optimization, Warehousing, Inventory & Logistics, SRN, Internal/ External PSAT, Vendor performance evaluation, Contract Governance etc
• New product and Innovation including Green Energy initiatives for Solar, Hybrid, Energy/Uptime initiatives
• Opex - Spends and control
• Capex Services like TSP, EB, associated Services
• Process Improvement and compliance
Heading the SCM function in the OPCO with market leadership position(62% RMS and 60% CMS)
• AOP ownership for complete spend commitment of more than 600 million USD, Capex and Opex Procurement with TCO optimization
• Contract Governance, KPI & SLA monitoring for all partners
• Real Estate & Facility Management, Site Acquisition and Project Monitoring.
• Vendor relationship Management - PHD, Evaluation, Registration, SOB allocation, Barring etc
• Complete Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory and Customs clearance ownership
• Oracle ERP implementation and control- Procure to Pay(P2P), Procure to Capitalization(P2C).
• Process and Policy formulation for Pan India Supply Chain Operations, ownership for SCM function.
• Capex and Opex Management for AOP of app INR 5000 Million : Budgeting, Procurement Control, Optimization, Renegotiation.
• Contract Management of app INR 15000 Million: Passive Infra(IP1) rollout model, Active infra, Technical, IT & VAS.
• Import and Logistics control: 3 pl management for Marcom and Technical warehousing, product life cycle, inventory reconciliation and Capitalization.
• Vendor Life cycle Management: Vendor Evaluation and Development, Relationship building and graduating them to Business Partners.
• Driving Key initiatives for cost optimization across circles, Best practices, knowledge sharing, Team building, engagement and sustenance.
• SAP Module implementation.
• Handled Passive infra Contract Management: Pan India for all 23 circles of Bharti Airtel for a budget of app 6000 Cr
• Model for Sharing of Passive Infra: Introducing, developing and finalizing contract for Sharing Passive infra including the key strategic indoor sites in India/Sri lanka .
• Worked closely with Cross Functional teams for execution of Contracts related to E1, POI with other OPCOS, PR, Brand Ambassador, Media Agency- Print & Electronic, Hoardings, Airport Branding, Billing & Collection Agency, OFC Laying, ROW with Ministry of Road and Highway, SMS hubbing, Infratel Passive Infra License among others. Authorized as the Commercial & official signatory for all the contracts, representations being done for the Bharti Airtel Lanka.
• Ordering and Procurement of Passive Infra and Electronics, CAPEX and Opex Management and control.
• Negotiation and Finalization of Vendors along with Vendor Development, Liaison and Relationship building with vendors and graduate them to Business Partners.
• Site Acquisition, Site Roll out and Project Management, Office/MSC/Brand Shoppe Build ups and monitoring. Roll out of other special projects.
• Monitoring and controlling the procurement and distribution of SIM and RCVs, overall Asset Management and ensuring Process Compliance.
• Attaining major cost optimization in expenses incurred in various Opex Heads such as Marketing, Printing and Travelling Cost, procurement and distribution of SIM and Recharge Vouchers through negotiation, re-engineering, innovative ideas and new Vendor Development and streamlining of systems and process to ensure better Internal Controls in the various functions thus contributing to the profitability of the organization.
• Control of Warehouse Inventory and reduction of Inventory> 90 Days, increasing Capital Productivity along with reducing Stock holding Cost and risk due to obsolescence. Aging of stocks and deployment plan - FSN - ABC - XYZ analysis of the material.
