Perform role of technical training consultant for Lexus business.
My major responsibilities includes but not limited to lead the technical training activities required to achieve the certification rate from principal and run train the trainer courses for associates of the group automotive division dealing with brands as Lexus, Toyota, Honda, Jeep, Doge Chrysler and Volvo.
Conduct TNAs for the all branches to find the skill gap
Prepare the annual training calendar based on the results of TNA.
Design, prepare and delivery of the courses as per training calendar.
Monitor the performance indicators to achieve the targets.
Conduct management reviews to discuss the performance of the technician for improvement action plans and career development plans.
Conduct assessments of the technician as per business requirements for the hiring process and promotions.
Conducted training need assessment to find out the skill gap.
Prepared training plan to bridge the gap.
Prepared budget required to fulfill the training plan and getting them approved by the management and monitored the utilization of approved budget through the year.
Executed the annual training plan successfully.
Improved the overall certification rate of the organisation from 68% to 82%. in the global ranking of Toyota distributors.
Supervised 3 regional trainers and two demonstrators.
Conducted Certification Examinations twice in a year, prepare, analyse the results and reported to seniors and principals (Toyota Motor Corporation).
Conducted Skill contest among the certified technicians of company dealers and reported to principal.
Record keeping and maintaining the data of trainees an issuance of certificates accordingly.
Evaluation of product as per local driving, environmental and market conditions gather the
data compile the results and submit to the management for final launch of product in the market.
Monitor the after sales technical activities of dealers and provide leading support/supervision
if required to handle the after sales customer complaints.
Grant final approvals for the warranty repairs and communicate with the principals regarding
the technical issues in the product for rectification and improvement.
Analyzing warranty claims data (top ten defects) and reporting to QC/QA department.
Provide feed backs to dealers regarding queries/issues of warranty claims rejection and approvals.
Customer handling having complaints in their vehicles
Repair and maintenance of delivery vans, trucks, trailers and refrigerated transport systems.
