2012 to date as Terminal Officer
• Maintain safe operations ensuring that work is conducted without accident.
• Supervise, direct; maintain safety discipline and control of all Terminal staff and contractors within the Terminal.
• Conduct daily inspections during the shift to check for leaks and ensure that work permit conditions are compiled with for any work being undertaken in the Terminal during the shift under supervision.
• Control the operational activities relating to the safe and timely transfer of product between ORPC Refinery and MAF Storage tanks during shift.
• Maintain access control to the Terminal and ensure that all visitors are aware of the terminal Prevention of fire Regulations and work permit Procedures.
• Ensure records are maintained of stocks, perform stock accounting and reconciliation, investigating where there are discrepancies.
• Supervise emergency response measures in case of fire.
