Serve as part of the project team and assist the Deputy Chief of Party/Commercial Sector Lead (DCOP) in management and coordination of program activities related to increasing demand for and use of recycling services in Amman by the commercial sector.
Support identifying and profiling commercial waste generators and developing compelling messages and business cases that will convince commercial waste generators to recycle. Collaborate with professional/industry associations, GAM, and the Ministry of Environment on design of communication and outreach campaigns targeting commercial waste generators; and support waste generators to adopt recycling services and develop and monitor solid waste management (SWM) plans.
Deliver direct technical support to businesses, introduce corporate behavior change programs, identify recycling market opportunities and incentives, analyze recycling markets and services, identify and facilitate innovative business partnerships and solutions in solid waste management and recycling, design training and capacity building programs, and facilitate public-private partnerships.
Maintain strong working relationships with the commercial sector waste generators, the recycling service providers’, business leaders, the Ministry of Environment, Greater Amman Municipality, other related ministries, and relevant non-governmental organizations.

Responsible for managing the contracts through the following main aspects:
Daily communication and follow up.
Monitoring and controlling of operations and maintenance and waste transportation and manifestation.
Conducting field inspections and visits.
Meeting and resolving obstacles.
Preparing reports.
Attending awareness cessions and activities.
Preparing Circulars to regulate wastes.
Finding proper solutions for environmental issues.
Monitoring and controlling contractual obligations for both parties including the KPIs.
Coordination with stake holders like Department of Health, SEHA and Environmental Agency - Abu Dhabi to improve Hazardous Waste Management in Abu Dhabi.
Preparation of SOP, Revision and approval of acceptance criteria. Monitoring and controlling the operations and the KPIs.
- Member in Hazardous Materials Committee in the EAD.
Responsible for all projects related to treatment and disposal of hazardous waste, main tasks include generators data monitoring and controlling, involvement in the integrated system to monitor and track hazardous materials and waste, finding proper solutions for hazardous waste in the Emirate, revision of laws and legislations, preparation of the project charter, .etc
- Member in conformity scheme with the QCC.
New conformity schemes for the workers in the hazardous waste handling were proposed and approved, 8 categories were executed involving supervisors, labours, drivers, storekeepers.
These schemes aim to develop skills and knowledge of personnel working in this field through examination. I reviewed the exams materials and approved them accordingly.

That looks into requests submitted from the companies and ESPs in the Emirate regarding licensing, renewal, disposal, treatment, NOCs and/or hazardous waste related issues.

• Controlled production of sulfuric acid and performed energy and material balances.
• Calculated the optimum air to fuel ratio in the burners of utility plant at the Aqaba Chemical Industries Complex which lead to reduction of SOx, NOx, and COx emissions. And it was published in Aqaba Engineer Magazine.
