Specialist oilfield services K.S.C \[SOS\], Kuwait is an API-licensed
corporation, an Authorized service facility of HMH oil and gas (HYDRIL) and
Control Flow Inc. equipment, which follows API Q1 9th edition, API Q2 2nd
Edition & ISO 9001:2015 QMS system. SOS is certified manufacturer and
service facility for API 16A, 6A, 16C, 5CT & 7-1 products
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform Initial, In-Process and Final inspection and testing of API 16A, 6A, 16C, 5CT & 7-1 products.
2. Perform Dimensional Inspection.
3. Preparation and Control of Welding documents like WPS, PQR, WPQT & Welder continuity log as per ASME Sec IX.
4. Monitoring and inspection of welding activities as per approved WPS.
5. Monitoring PWHT and review the PWHT reports and chart.
6. Perform qualification of welding and coating processes Standards and specifications
7. Perform Process and product validation.
8. Perform Surface Preparation and Coating/Painting inspections.
9. Monitoring and performing Non-Destructive Examination (VI, LPI, MPI & UT) and generating NDE Reports
10. Review of Hardness test reports and UT thickness reports.
11. Perform hardness inspection & ultrasonic thickness inspection.
12. Preparation and review of Inspection & Testing reports
13. Reporting Non-conformances during Inspections.
14. Control of Measuring and Monitoring Equipment.
15. Performing Internal Calibration of Measuring and Testing Instruments like micrometers, calipers, pressure gauges and recorders.
16. Co-ordinate with Customers to Provide Service as per Requirement.
