As HR Business Partner, I was responsible for understanding dynamic needs of Internal Customers and create policies and process to ensure efficient & effective implementation for building high performing teams. I was actively engaged in working closely with Business delivery teams and Centre of Excellence functions within HR for crafting strategies for Workforce Planning, Creating Workforce reports, compensation guidelines, driving Performance Management in India, UK & US.
Key responsibilities:

 Supporting Business delivery team for 400 Employees located in India, UK & US.
 Support Business Heads in Planning and implementing of Key HR initiatives to help the organization become an employer of the choice.
 Continuously supporting, reviewing and improving the HR policies to reinforce organizational culture.
 Extend people agenda through employee coaching/counseling sessions, planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives.
 Execute HR connect initiatives to ensure constant interactions with employees and their respective superiors.
 Provide inputs to the HR head & vertical HR head in developing solutions which enable successful retention strategies and solve capability gaps using internal /external levers including development, resourcing & training.
 Identify employee concerns/grievances/issues proactively, that may cause disruption in near future and initiate corrective actions.
 Advice and assist line managers to implement the performance assessment program and in providing constructive employee feedback.
 Assist implementation of rewards & recognition programs in the zone and monitor progress/effectiveness of these initiatives.
 Transaction Management - Attendance, Shift Allowance, Background verification, UK & US VISA etc
 Ensure optimal utilization of employee centric HR Information Systems, so as to facilitate Decision Support.

Projects & Rewards :
 Part of project on transformation of Performance appraisal system to a competency based module.
 Developed company’s first-ever standardized disciplinary procedures and tracking system on Peoplesoft HRMS that ensured consistent and fair discipline processes in line with the policy on misconduct.
 Awarded Value award for displaying the Syntel value under Smart work, innovation within the realities of team dynamics, market and the environment aligned to Syntel philosophy of LEAN.
 Prepared and relooked at HR policies for various geography’s to ensure adherence to local labour laws ie India, US, UK, Germany, Philippines, Australia, Singapore & Poland.

In my role as Employee Relation Coordinator, I was responsible for managing softer as well as harder aspects of Industrial Relations across nationally. This role was also expected to interpret and advise Circle HR teams on various amendments in Labour Legislations and its impact on the wages, terms of employment and social security benefits.
In my last assignment with Reliance Communications as HR, I was responsible for crafting Talent Strategies for building and buying Talent, Performance Management, Retention programs, Succession planning and designing Career Paths for Sales function.
Key responsibilities:

 Ensure adherence to all applicable policies, procedures/regulations and statutory requirements in respect of business operations in the zones.
 Ensure compliance to the all the companies HR guidelines/standards set for the employees.
 Ensure adherence to laid down processes to obtain good/acceptable audit rating as and when assessed .
 Implement recruitment solutions that enhance the organizations hiring capability of professional staff in alignment with the business objectives.
 Monitor hiring of fixed term employees and trainees in line with overall organization requirements.
 Contribute in assessment of manpower gaps from business units/departments based on the business plans and collectively explore both internal sourcing options for hiring in conjunction with the global resourcing team. Determine the feasible and cost effective option and initiate the sourcing process.
 Support in development of innovative and effective means of assessing potential candidates so that the right person is selected for the job. Organize and conduct candidate interviews. Shortlist candidates and negotiate salary offer/terms of engagement.
 Implement Talent Management initiatives and execute policies to retain high caliber talent.
 Assist the Zonal/Regional HR head and the business heads to design and implement innovative and progressive selection tools to meet the current/future manpower requirments.
Projects:

 Managed and coordinated PAN India HR audit and ensure that audit queries are resolved in line with the auditors remarks.
 Prepared Salary structure for new acquisitions and processes keeping in the view the minimum wages and other laws governing to it.
 Preparations of HR policy on Sexual harassment at work place.
 Successfully closed the labour dept audit under the social security Act.
