• Sr. Day Shift Instrumentation Technician in Electrical and Automation maintenance department at Emirates Steel Industries (A SENAAT Company) reporting to Instrumentation Supervisor.
• Currently working in shift for EAF, LRF, CCM, Oxygen Plant, Fume Treatment Plant and Material Handling.
• Planning preventive Maintenance to improve plant availability.
• Working on Yokogawa Centum-3000 DCS
• Calibration and Maintenance of Pressure, Temperature, Level and Flow Instruments, Control Valves, Transmitters.
• Calibration, testing and trouble-shooting of Valves, as well as measurement and Valve related instruments.
• Calibration and Maintenance of Load cells and other Weighting system.
• Experience on Siemens S7-400 PLC, WINCC and AB Compact Logix as well as Control logix system.
• Working on ABB, Servomax oxygen and Nitrogen analyzer.
• Maintenance of 120T EOT Cranes.
• Working on ASTAT 630A and 200A for Crane hoist control.
• Working on Siemens Sinamics Drives.
• Commissioned 60 MVA TES power transformer for Electric Arc Furnace.
• Attending breakdown to rectify problem with maximum possible short duration.
• Commission Oxygen and Nitrogen backup facility plant.
• Preparation of Instrument List, I/O List, Drawings.
• Maintenance & troubleshooting of Drives, MCC Panels, Starter (DOL & Star-Delta), Soft-starter, Motors.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of PLCs as well as modification as per requirement
• Experience on PTW and work assessment norms of safety.
