Responsible for the safe accomplishment
of all syncrolift dry docking
functions in accordance with the SRF docking manual . conducts liaison with ships to be dry docked to determine the load and stability characteristics, establish parameters for draft , trim and list, and verifies latest docking plans and docking positions . prepare and distribute docking reports . Coodinates and reviews with Engineering Division all calculations required for a safe docking. Inspects dry dock set-up at Jeddah Ship Repair yard for RSNF ships to be dry docked .
Assume duties and responsibilities of Sevices Group Officer in the absence of the incumbent , such as supervision , oversee through subordinate supervisory personnel all activities of the Services Group , providing technical guidance to personnel , and liaisons with other shops and repair division to coordinate work required .
