•Managed a team of personnel more than 40 employees and assumed responsibility for developing an annual operating budget of AED 100 million excluding materials.
•Sourced and negotiated pricing for more than 600 products with an annual purchased value of AED 500 million including establishing blanket purchase agreements and bulk commodity pricing agreements.
•Developed strategic suppliers and negotiated contract agreements resulting in huge cost savings.
•High level co-ordination with all departments in the Project, Maintenance and Operation Divisions for effective & efficient Award of Agreements for Contracts & Purchase Orders.
•Developed Strategies to assist project personnel at the TAKREER’s Sites other locations in the areas of material sourcing, technical support and vendor relations.
•Reduced new equipment purchases by 15% by participating on all assets of Refinery in Abu Dhabi and better coordination for delivery of equipment needs for construction projects taking place throughout the Emirates.
•Exposure to different international standards, ISO auditing (Environment & Quality) and Quality assessment.
•Enhancing the profile of purchasing and profession and the people within it in the organization and converting it into a Centre of Excellence.
•Co-ordination / Networking with ADNOC group companies and Stakeholders to exploit in sharing the best practices and opportunities.
•Participation in the preparation of the Purchasing Department’s annual commitment plan and budget.
