Project based title reporting to the QC Manager. Main duty is to ensure that welding work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract. The Welding Engineer carries out surveillance of project welding activities, makes reports to the Project QC Manager and recommends corrective actions ensuring these are applied. Originates the project WPS and ensures WPSs are approved and qualified as per specifications.
