Responsible for IT support, analysis and solutions to all projects of Hill International in the region of North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Libya and Egypt) including, but not limited to,
• Installing and maintaining servers and network equipment
• Installing and implementing Active Directory and infrastructure services
• Installing and implementing all server applications (Microsoft and third party applications such as Primavera)
• Installing, configuring and troubleshooting IP telephone system facilities (Cisco & Avaya)
• Supervising helpdesk teams and site admins of all projects of the region
• Reporting to the Regional IT Manager and Global IT Corporate team of Hill International
• Installing and configuring Cisco equipment (routers and switches)
• Preparing budgets and providing TCO solutions
• Studying and filling out the IT scope of all project contracts
• Coordinating with Microsoft team about cloud and virtualization issues
• Administrating local company system
• Planning, installing, administering, managing and designing Microsoft-based solutions (Directory service, server systems and infrastructure services)
• Designing and supporting security solutions for customers (Symantec, McAfee, Sanctuary Device Control and Application Control).
• Planning and performing backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Installing, serving and troubleshooting IBM server systems
• Providing server solutions for all kinds of business
• Configuring and troubleshooting RAID arrays for servers.
• Designing and maintaining layer 2 and layer 3 switching for customers
• configuring and supporting Cisco-based routers for customers
• Supervising Network cabling efforts at the customers sites
• Providing 2nd level of support for basic troubleshooting efforts for IT teams of the customers
• Administering all network processes and issues (Windows Server 2003-based)
• Performing H/W and S/W troubleshooting
• Working as a Network Instructor
• Managing and troubleshooting the LAN of the company
• Maintaining and troubleshooting internet connection problems for customers
• Installing and troubleshooting LANs for customers
