Within RCU, I manage the business tourism and events on different fronts, including holding business events in AlUla as a destination and Maraya as a convention hall. On the external front, I’m responsible for engaging the RCU in suitable business platforms (tradeshows, conferences, exhibitions, meetings and so on). The role also includes responsibilities that sit within different stakeholders internally and externally. So my scope includes and not limited to:
Establishing the department from scratch.
Responsible for all events happening in Maraya
Responsible for shaping the department strategy.
Responsible for the planning and performance of the department including finance and budgeting.
Handling the events request from the internal & external stakeholders.
Evaluating business opportunities for RCU and deciding on participation in international & local events.
Evaluating and deciding on RCU sponsorship requests internationally & locally.
Representing RCU in all external platforms and events.
Qiddiya is one of KSA Giga Projects initiated by HRH Prince Mohammed Ben Salman the Crown Prince of the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia, that is planned to be one of the future cornerstones in a quest to enable the Kingdom Vision 2030.
My role as Events Manager includes managing and planning the events department strategy and that includes but not
limited to:
* Establishing the department from scratch.
* Responsible for shaping the department strategy.

before moving to managing the Global
Events & Exhibitions dept. for a year and a half (2018-2019). My responsibilities as part of the Global Events function is
working alongside the other departments and subdivisions internally and externally in the day-to-day tasks and
assignments, as well as the events that SABIC organizes and participates in (conferences, exhibitions, forums etc...).
Worked in several departments (PR, Events and member affairs) in several roles under the umbrella of
communications.
Dealing with communication internally and externally, as well as arranging media plans and press releases for
the club.
Additional Professional Activities
* Team leader of the Events management students trip to Germany (Glasgow Caledonian University)
May 2012 To Düsseldorf - Cologne - Bochum - Dortmund - Bonn.
The overall aim of this visit is for students to assess, experience and form judgments about a number of Sports related concepts within a
Globalized perspective (in this case a Central European country). A visit to number of institutes, universities and Olympic entities such as the
Olympic Museum in Cologne had been made during this visit.
* The key event throughout my career was taking part in organizing London 2012 Olympic Games, which I wrote my Master’s degree
dissertation on.
