Project: BECHAR MILITARY HOSPITAL:
The hospital project is located in Bechar, Algeria. The project has 60, 650 m² of construction area on 100, 000 m² of land and 342 bed capacity. KAYI is the EPC contractor of the project and KAYI Medical is in charge of medical equipment package on a turn-key basis including warranty services.
• Preparation of BOQ, cost Estimate and specification.
• Participate in project planning and site work time schedule.
• Review mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers.
• Ensure coordination with Architectural, Structural and other Utilities Engineers and Quantity Surveyors using Revit Software 2018 and AutoCAD 2018.
• Responsible on-site of piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing and other testing that may be required during installation.
• Prepare mechanical services material proposals against specified technical performance requirements.
• Monitor and promote health and safety on the site.
• Review and approve ‘as built’ drawings.

• Advise the Project Director of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snagging.
• Manage the day to day work of the MEP team.
• Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and AutoCAD shop drawings submitting.
• Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations.
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.

• Design, installation and Maintenance of Head, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC).
• Installation, Operation and Maintenance of Air compressor stations (ATLAS COPCO Stationary Air Compressors).
• Preparing Bill of Quantities, Tenders and Contracts of new specials project.
• Evaluating Tenders and Offers and select best offer for new special project.
• Design utilities and HVAC systems for high technology facilities, including general manufacturing and process and institutional facilities

• Installation and Maintenance of Elevator and control panel.
• Diagnosing breakdown problems.
• Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
• Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
