ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as an ENGINNER in process quality of Hot strip Mill. (Capacity 800T/hr)
➢ Responsible for Process and Product Audits as per Quality Plan
➢ Periodic coil inspection
➢ Making Daily, Weekly and Monthly MIS Reports and maintaining ISO system documents
➢ Monitoring the Online surface inspection system (PARSYTEC)
➢ Analyse the Rejection and corrective actions to be carried out with 5WHY
➢ Responsible to control of Cost of Poor Quality coils
➢ Implementing precaution actions to achieve ZERO DPPM at customer end
➢ Implementation of LEAN TOOLS like 5S, POKA-YOKE, ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS & FMEA
➢ Eliminating non value added activities and controlling the process parameters
➢ Manage in reducing scrap / rework by using problem solving techniques
➢ Responsible for the process improvement activities for cost reduction
➢ In process inspection visual aesthetics and measurements
➢ Monitoring the Online GDC system of temperature and dimensional parameters
➢ Analysis the problems on coils through feedback provided by METALLURGICAL TESTING LABORATORY and solving using 7 QC tools
➢ Analysing the problem with yield strength, UTS, hardness, % elongation and other mechanical properties
