• Finance, Accounting, Treasury and Insurance Depts.:
o Developed finance strategy in alignment with company’s overall strategy.
o Prepared, reviewed and analyzed the monthly financial reports (P&L and Cash Flow) and the Quarter - End Balance Sheet reports.
o Developed a strong and practical set of controls and processes and create an effective control environment.
o Responsible for the Management and full utilization of the new ERP including the Finance Platform.
o Working capital management and managing treasury and cash flow.
o Annual and 5 years Budgets preparation, monitoring and control.
o Develops feasibility for new company investments to assess the financial outcome and drive sound business decision making.

o Approves and validates clauses of any contract that have financial impact on the company such as payment to supplier and other aspects within the contract.
o Ensures compliance with local regulations such as the CMA and Zakat Authority.
o Responsible for Zakat and Tax preparations and issues.
o Ensure all insurance requirements are met and different types of risks are mitigated.


• Supply Chain Department (Logistics, Warehouse and Procurement):
o Development of the Supply Chain planning function in line with the Sales and Operations Planning process.
o Support of plant scheduling and assist in developing global production planning policies.
o Monthly production schedule with attendant materials requirements planning based on the annual sales forecast.
o Accountability for the inventory strategy and plan in line with Strategic and operational planning models.
o Management of:
- Demand, supply and financial exceptions to meet business objectives.
- Product transfers between all facilities.
- Slow moving and obsolete inventory.
- Activities between Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Distribution.
- Raw material and packaging sourcing.
o Supply Chain Optimization Initiatives.
o Budget analysis related to capacity, production and inventory planning.
o Working capital optimization Initiatives.


• Head of the ERP implementation steering committee.
• Head of the Fixed Assets Committee.

• Major Tasks:

• The preparation of the annual strategic plans and budgets as well as regular updates of forecasts and cash flows and any additional management reports besides the monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statements, or as directed.

• Follow up on current acquisitions and new established companies in GCC and Levant regions and ensure financial functions are effectively in place. GCC & Levant companies were reporting directly to me.

• Mitigate operational risk through effective implementation of group policy on all type of risks and in particular credit risk and liquidity risk.

• Establish a strong cash and working capital management.

• Improve company general performance by addressing issues of priority in accordance with the general strategy and objective of the business.

• The preparation of the annual strategic plans and budgets as well as regular updates of forecasts and cash flows and any additional management reports besides the monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statements, or as directed.
