Key responsibilities:

Machine operation: Set up and operate CNC bending machine to bend rebars to the correct angle, dimension, and contour depending on the bar bending schedule (BBS).

Blueprint and specification interpretation: Read technical drawings, and work orders to understand project requirements, such as material type, dimensions, tolerances, and bending angles.

Machine setup and adjustments: Select and install appropriate tooling, such as rollera, guides and clamps, and adjust machine settings as needed for each job.

Quality control: Monitor the quality of the bent parts, comparing them to standards and making necessary adjustments to the machine.

Equipment maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including minor repairs and lubrication, to ensure the machine runs efficiently and to report any major malfunctions.

Troubleshooting: Identify and address issues with the machine or the parts being produced to ensure consistent quality and minimal downtime.

Housekeeping and safety: Keep the work area clean and orderly, and follow all safety procedures during operation.

Communication: Communicate with supervisors, quality control, and other personnel to report production status and resolve any issues.
