  • My current job since July 2014

• Served as the cognizant engineer for Feature Development team in design of Streaming IP/Satellite Based in-flight entertainment system for commercial aircraft.
• Served as integrator across IVV Test and Software development teams as well as project management teams based in California.
• Authored vendor, systems, and subsystem design requirement sets as well as interface control documents for all featured components.

Systems Engineering Manager at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems
  • United States - Florida - Palm Bay
  • July 2014 to December 2017

• Served as Systems Engineering lead for new trainer aircraft program proposal. Developed internal engineering specifications from U.S. Air Force customer requirements and allocated these to Northrop Grumman subsystem engineering teams for development. Also acted as integrator across 16 subsystem-engineering teams.

• Served as program integration manager for E2-C wing center section modification program (80 million dollar aircraft structure modification program). Managed global supply chain and field teams in execution of aircraft modifications.

• Developed operational analyses (battle-space, economic, strategic aspects), program schedules, and cost estimates for Grumman C2-A Greyhound modernization program proposal to U.S. Navy.

• Served as project manager (cost account manager) for Northrop repair and engineering teams supporting subcontractor (Crane Aerospace) and the U.S. Navy supplying components and test data for the C2A anti-skid braking system including BOM, test procedures, and test reports for flight readiness review, and onsite system installation by Northrop engineering prior to delivery to U.S. Navy/ NAVAIR (8.5 million dollar aircraft modification project for the C2-A Greyhound cargo aircraft).

• Managed Engineering 3D Modeling project (engineering drawing conversion to digital format) resulting in a digital drawing and specification database for the C-2A Greyhound aircraft fuselage frames, interior panels, and avionics. This effort reduced the cost and increased availability of C-2A design data to manufacturing groups. Managed $295, 500.00 project budget.

Systems Engineering Lead at Science Applications international Corp
  • United States
  • July 2007 to July 2014

• Developed NASA Ground Systems Development Program system and data enterprise architecture solution that greatly facilitated intra-program and external program data exchange through implementation of SOA that mapped NASA authoritative database sources between centers using xml and data link architectures.
• Led Tool acquisition trade study for the new 21st Century Ground Systems Program that resulted in source selection of NASA federated tool set for requirements management (based on IT and engineering BOE estimates) saving the program 3.5 million dollars in unnecessary acquisition costs and personnel alignment for future engineering development.
• Served as chairman for NASA’s Tri-Program requirements engineering information systems community of practice. Developed program information exchange and integration approached, ROM estimates for vendor support at several NASA centers, and Systems architecture developer delivering local and high level SoS architecture approaches for ground and flight systems development.
• Served as principal system architect/ administrator for the Cradle requirements management/systems engineering tool set. Developed data architecture that reduced design data volume and milestone review product generation and processing by 40%.
• Mentored junior engineers in system engineering principles and their tailoring to a data centric environment.
• Prepared engineering architecture proposal documents in answer to NASA KLXS II request for Proposal in 2013.
